I know barely anyone finds my dream entries interesting, but I may as well keep typing them up before I forget.
Last night's dream we drove into Asheville with the entire family to do something fun, so we stopped by a pizza place. We walk in and there was a long, white stairway leading up. A guy holding a box on his side told us, "If you want to wait tables, you've got to stand out," and all of the boys go to the left at the top of the staircase while all the girls go to the right. I was left dead in their tracks since I had no idea what the man was talking about and everyone acted as if they had done it before. Unsure, I followed my mom and jumped.
All of them were getting makeovers--really red lipstick, fake eyelashes, eye shadow, hairspray to make your hair stick up in a mohawk, and a costume with an incredibly short skirt. "I am not doing this," I told my mom as she put her make-up on, but she got mad and told me, "Come on, you're being a party pooper. At least put some lipstick on!" I panicked and cried, "NO!" multiple times, and then she held up one of those things that I don't even know the name of where you brush your eyelashes, and I went, "GAH! What IS that!?" and ran away.
When my mom, aunt, and cousin came to sit next to me, looking as ridiculous as could be I said, "Look: I didn't come here to dress like a lunatic and wait tables. I came here to sit down and eat pizza!" but they didn't listen. They just kept saying I was no fun and kept trying to put stuff on me.
When the boys were finally done getting dressed, they looked stupid, too, but they didn't have to put make-up on. My uncle was saying how he couldn't understand why anyone would come here for any other reason, and my mother gave me a stern look.
The rest of the dream just dwindled into nonsense...Yeah. That was one of my rare dreams that actually made sense...And, hey, I think I was a girl this time! I'm usually a guy in all my dreams, especially Cloud ^w^ Heheh...wow...
And I'm sure of it! We're seeing Harry Potter TODAY. My mom has no job interviews and Cake has no cheerleading practice. Whoo!
Speaking of Cake, I wonder if she wrote about that ping-pong dream in her journal...I'll go check!
