So, after two days of fighting with the Xbox 360, not to mention having to wait for more than 4 hours to be able to play the damn, but awaited, game. So, fine... Here's when things start to get annoying.
I know these people... They were hurrying me to buy the game. Me? I didn't care at the moment, heck! I wanted the game, so it didn't really bother me. So after the arduos work I had to undergo, I finally entered the game and made my character.
Name: Aisler
Race: Elvaan (male)
Region: San'Doria (or however it is 'cause I'm still learning some stuff...)
Main Job: Thief
Level: 10

Main Job: Thief
Level: 10
And that's it... Nothing that bad, right? All I did was get in and I already had a person waiting for me to start training... So what's the problem?
I'm not enjoying the game!
Sure, I liked the quick leveling up... But heck, I didn't even know what was my Country's name by the moment. I was still trying to get a hand of the game, you know... Enjoy the story, read... EXPLORE for God's sake! That's one of the elemental things and RPG must have for it to be fun (at least for me).
But, it's not over yet... I had three different Power Levelers... One of them was the White Mage/Bard which was the best, really... Even though he didn't explain anything game related, he somehow let me explore and whatnot. The other one that was okay was the Summoner/White Mage which gave me more information and helped me understand some concepts... But the one that's got me all angry and feeling like I'm eating my insides is the one I know the best, the Red Mage.
You know what annoys me? The usual hurrying up. Heck! I'm slow! I like enjoying my games! I don't like buying a game just to play it like a freak for a whole week without rest and then beat it and have nothing else to do with it! Well, that's the exact description of him. So, no reading... Hurrying up. Don't fight, you'll get killed. HECK! I want to PLAY! Running around is NOT playing! It's just... Moving around!
Mark me well, I don't hate Final Fantasy. In fact, I love the games. But this sudden feeling that is eating me alive is starting to make me NOT want to play the game anymore. It's just so... I don't have a word to describe it, but let's just put it this way. I'm usually calm and don't curse that much, but with them I constantly do it. Not to mention that I don't feel like playing any more for today. I'm even thinking of going solo and do things how they're supposed to be done. By exploring, meeting people, learning how to play the game. Not having someone blurt out all that you need to know and try to remember because next time they tell you: "Hey, do you have (insert something that you don't know here)?" and you go like... "What are you talking about?" just so you can elude a sudden burst of "I can't believe it, are you dumb!? You can't be serious! No, no... Really... Listen carefully."
Yeah, I'm pissed off... Needed to let some steam go... I'm going to give it a try again, but if I see that I keep getting annoyed, or I don't enjoy ther game, I'll be going solo, even if I can't speak fluently because I don't have a keyboard. I'll manage to work it out. That's my ranting, I'm out...

First you have the wrong class... Theifs are notoriously hard to learn. It takes positioning, knowing skill chains and other junk in order to lvl... Besides that you need your subjob which only comes at lvl 30...
I told you this isn't going to be an easy MMO Higeki~~..
If you've got questions you can ask me.. I'm on MSN and such if you need help..
However if you want suggestions in lvling a character I suggest you hit the warrior route ASAP that's my opinion on the subject..
It's a great subclass as it is and no matter what you do with Elvaan you're probably going to need at least 30 lvls of warrior... That's one way or another....
I've had a lvl 31 theif also.. I liked the class, but I had my own problems with it...
Anyway here's my suggestion... What do you need to know? What are you interested in doing? Are you interested in reading quests? Are you in a good Link Shell? Those are essencial to the start of FFXI... Ask for a beginer friendly Link Shell... That's what I did when I entered Vana'diel... If you need help just ask. You know i"m always around..
