Hurts people.
Hiding your feelings hurts people and it's just not right. You shouldn't be afraid to show your feelings and express yourself.... You have one life to live, live it expressing you. Hiding feelings is hiding you, it's a mask you show to the world to be left alone. A mask that hurts the people who care deeply for you and makes them think you just don't care anymore.
It hurts to be speaking with someone and honestly believe.. they just stopped caring. To look at their face and just think... "They could care less if I just.. walked out of their life and never came back." To have to look deeply into their eyes to find out how they really feel... whether or not it puts a smile on the person's face to think, instead "They really do care about me.. they're just scared."
I hate knowing.. that my friends are afraid of showing me how they feel. I wish I could just... cradle them all... I want to help them all.. and it hurts so much to every think those thoughts. It hurts anyone to think someone they care for just doesn't care.. especially when there's no signs that they do care. Or.. signs they don't seem to see...
So, everyone... take off your mask. Live your life as you.. I'm trying to take off mine. I'll be me someday, be the real you with the real me.
