If life wasn't cheesy enough [haha, pun]
Cheesy's Cheesy Life #49 -Dream Story Part 6 The End-
Alissa had been sitting there, staring at the surroundings now and deep into Hanz's sapphire eyes. His beautiful... sapphire eyes. This was no time to be into love and lust; she stood up. "I'm gonna get you help, dear.. I swear.. I'm goin'ta fix everything..." she choked but it was no time to cry. Alissa picked up her babies, holding them for what may be the last time before kissing them each and laying them beside their father. "I love you..." she than ran over to the well that David's body now floated in.

"Alissa! Wait!" he reached out towards her, not wanting to leave her side ever again. All the actions she made only led him to horrible conclusions he couldn't bare to let her go through. "It's fine now! Let's just-" he groaned, crying out in agony as his chest churned. It felt as if something was broken; maybe a rib. She ignored his pleas as she pulled David out of the water and laid him on his back atop the tiled floors.

"David! Wake up! Please!" she had an idea but she wasn't sure how concrete it was. All of it was based off of video games and false hopes she hoped would be true for just now. The red-headed man made no response.

She placed her ear next to his mouth and nose to figure out if he was breathing. No air touched his skin. "David.. please..." she whimpered, not wanting her friend to be dead. There was too much regret lingering to end it this way. Hanz now watched her in silence as his wife attempted to make his best friend come back to life. Unlike her, he doubted it would work and knew it was all over.

The boy made no response. She performed what she knew of CPR and hoped she did it right. Alissa was willing to do anything so long as it would bring everything back to a more normal state. Her eyes clouded with tears, staring at the boy she had known for so many years just laying there before her. "Give it up, Angel.. he's not coming back.." Anthony replied with great grief in his voice. He had hoped he would be wrong but it was impossible to make the dead rise. David was long gone before they had gotten there.

"No... he's still here.. I know it.. I just.. I feel it.." she tried to explain but no words seemed to fit the emotions and logic that she now felt. Alissa attempted CPR again than checked his breathing. Soft air lingered in her ear, smile spreading across her face.

"She died... so sad.." Jorden cackled, looking up into Donny's drunkened eyes. He was at a loss of words, what was there to say? His best friend had killed someone that he held so dear to him. He had opened up to Jorden and let her know his fears then she turned it all against him in one fatal swoop. His world was over.

"Cheer up, hun.." she snickered, "You're next.. Well, I'm not killing you." Jorden paused, seeing the hope return to Donny's eyes at the end of her sentence. He was hanging off of her every whim and she loved it. "Starvation is." She couldn't help but smile as the last of the little hope he had left faded in an instant. His eyes were now empty and staring at the corpse of his dead love. "Bye," she giggled and left the room.

"David!" she cried out, pulling back as he sat up slowly. Alissa glomped him, the two falling to the ground. Anthony just chuckled, finding it funny how wrong he was. "You're alive!" he blinked, confused as to what was going on. "Ya.. wait.." he sat up, not caring for the brunette clinging to his neck. David looked over at Anthony and chuckled, "Been awhile." "Likewise," Anthony retorted, smiling. The pain was worth it to see those two again.

Alissa let go and got up. This wasn't the end to fixing their problem but only the beginning. Everything about her composure became grim yet it had to be done. "David... help him, please.." she referred to Anthony, Hanz, whatever one may call him now. David grew confused but she was already leaving before he could ask much of her.

Anthony sat up, sitting Indian style on the ground. David turned away in slight disgust which confused Anthony, "What?" David groaned, "Look down.." Anthony looked down as his face turned red. He still had no clothes on him, no wonder David had been looking away. "Uh.. heh.. I don't really have anything..." he chuckled, completely embarassed but there wasn't anything he could do.

She reached Michelle who had already been waking up on her own. Michelle was staring at her hands, dumbfounded. "What..?" she then fainted. Alissa laughed, that was just like Michelle. She knelt beside her, checked her breathing and pulse before picking her up the best she could and taking her to the boys. Alissa didn't say much as she dropped Michelle off. She just set her next to David then returned to Anthony.

Anthony was confused, staring into his wife's clouded eyes. "Angel..." Alissa knelt infront of Anthony, looking away from him. "What's wrong? We're all here..." he held out his arms to her but she made no motion to respond. He decided to embrace her anyway, holding her close to him. His warmth comforted her; making her problems melt away... "I love you.." she whimpered, trying her best not to cry. He didn't know what to do, "I love you too.." Anthony had no clue why she was crying. "It's okay.. it's all over..." She shook her head no.

"What do you mean it's not over?" David jumped into the conversation, he didn't care if it was meant to be private or not. "There's.. something I have to do.." was all she responded with before locking her lips with Anthony. David rolled his eyes, chuckling slightly. She wrapped her arms around Anthony's neck, the kiss deepening. He felt so warm in his arms, a warmth she missed for so long.

It ended. She pulled away and stood up, "... Goodbye.." Alissa ran away from them all before they could do anything. Michelle was unconscous(sp), David was too weak to move, and Anthony was in too much pain. "Alissa! Come back!" he cried out but his love was already gone.

Trei began to cry, his hands wailing about in search for his mother's warmth. He didn't understand what was going on. All he wanted was to feel his mother holding him and hear her song that soothed him so. Not that he could speak this nor did he know of this. That was just what he wanted.

Anthony picked up his only son, cradling him in his arms. Trei calmed down slightly but not by much as he continued to bawl his eyes out. "Shh.. your mom will come back.. just wait.." even though he had no clue if he would ever see her again.

Alissa had just finished calling an ambulance to come over and help her loved ones. Now it was time to return and finish the job. They were safe, for the time being, but she had to make everything safe and okay again. The only way to do that was returning to Jorden's realm and undoing all of the evil she had created. She closed her eyes.

The walls began to peel and turn into the burnt red of before. Random tiles disappeared to reveal the flooring beneath it with the same burnt texture. Windows were cracked and the phone busted. The monsters stared at her oddly but, just as before, they made no attempt to attack her. Now to trick their master.

"Jorden!" she called out in despair, not the despair Jorden would think it was but it was not false. The despair was for the pain she was going through but she knew Jorden would take it as Alissa finally broke and couldn't stand being alone anymore. "Please! Where are you?" the monsters quarrelled, one attacking the other. "I want to see you! Please!" the other fell down, hitting the ground with a loud thud. The room felt as if it were shaking. "It's all over!" its head secreted red fluid from where its brain would be. The other monster danced in triumph before hitting the fallen one once more.

Jorden came to her as if in a trance, "You want me now?" The lingering hope still remained as she smiled. The old innocence that had attracted Alissa to her returned in that instant. Alissa felt dishonest and was tempted to retreat but she knew it had to be done. "Who else did you kill, Jo..?" she used her old nickname to attempt keeping the old Jorden that stood before her now. Alissa hoped to get all the information she could.

"It was just Damian.. and Vix.. and Jason.." she looked over at Alissa as a puppy would to its owner when it wanted praise. "Is that bad?" deep down, Alissa knew this was all bad but she needed to play along to keep herself alive. "No.. not at all.. Can you take them to me, Jo?" Jorden nodded, leading Alissa through the room which David had died and into a much larger room. The room was filled with dead bodies hanging from the ceiling with a cross right in the middle. Vix had been crucified onto it with slashes all about her body. Alissa winced once her eyes caught sight of the salt container that lay under her. Donny was hanging on the wall; skin and bones from starvation.

"Where's Jason?" Alissa asked, seeing big nose no where to be found. She pointed to the darkness where a ray of light suddenly appeared over chopped up flesh that her doglike monsters were now gnawing on. None of them could be saved, it was too late.

Jorden looked over at Alissa. She swore Jorden's tail would be wagging if she had one. "You did.. good.." she lied but Jorden easilly believed it. Jorden smiled and ran over to Vix, whose killing she was most proud of. "She's gone, Al! She's gone!" Jorden danced in her own weird way.

Alissa hadn't been paying attention. She was concentrating on having a bat in her hand and needed complete attention on that to make it so. It didn't take her too long before she did which she cleverly hid behind her.

Jorden continued to dance around Vix, so happy at how everything ended up. Alissa took a few steps towards Jorden, the bat raised above her head. Jorden turned to her but took no notice to the bat lingering over Alissa's head. She stretched out her arms to hug her instead. Alissa's eyes began to water as she swung the bat.

It was all over. Atleast, she would make it so. Jorden lay motionless on the ground and now Alissa must keep that it that way. She closed her eyes and swung the bat down towards Jorden's head. She could hear her skull crack but she never saw it as the world began to disappear. The same darkness as before swallowed her down but, instead of fighting it, she allowed it to take her away. Nothing more could happen to her.

She stood before the altar, staring into Anthony' sapphire eyes. He wore a tuxedo as he did when their wedding happened before. This confused Alissa as to why it felt like dejavu but she turned to where Jorden had sat before and realized the answer. No one sat in her spot, the spot right next to her father. She had reserved it just for her and now no one sat there. Alissa turned her gaze back to Anthony as the wedding comensed. She couldn't help but look back to double check that Jorden wasn't there and she wasn't. Her stomach churned.

Suddenly, memories flashed through her mind. Each one repeating but without Jorden where she had been the previous time. It was as if she had erased Jorden from every memory after the wedding.

It stopped, she was younger than she had been for the wedding and was standing in a black gown staring into the ground. Her eyes darted left and right as she tried to comprehend the situation. Anthony was standing behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist. Tears streamed down her face as she realized where she was at; a funeral.

Jorden K. Bonwell
A beautiful daughter. A wonderful granddaughter. A loyal friend.
April 26, 1991 -

Her eyes became too hazy for her to read the end date. Everything became a blur as she cried. Everyone around her claimed Jorden had died in some car accident but she knew this wasn't true. She had taken the bat to her head but it was for her own good. Jorden had gone mad and there was nothing else to do. "I... loved you... so much..." Alissa cried, trembling in Hanz's arms. She paid no attention to the other crying people around her, they didn't matter to her. They didn't kill her.

"I'm sorry, Angel..." Anthony held her close, turning her towards him so she could hide her tears in his chest. "I did it, Hanz.. I did it.." she cried, whispering so only he could her. "I know, dear... I know..." he kissed the top of her head then time returned to present.

Alissa laid down on her bed, eyes half way opened as she stared at the wall. Everything seemed like some aweful dream that she just couldn't awake from. Now, everything would be fine. Jorden wasn't dead, none of it happened. Now she would go tell Hanz she was pregnant and all would be well.

She sat up and looked down at her stomach which was much flatter than before. Alissa placed her hand where her babies should be but they weren't there. She bolted up and stumbled into the kitchen. "Anthony!" crying out, hoping he was home. "Shh!" he responded, running over to her and covering her mouth with his right hand, holding her with his left. "The babies are sleeping, Angel.. don't wake them..." her eyes widened.

"That... wasn't just a dream?" she felt around his chest and he winced. Lifting up his shirt to see it nicely wrapped up as if a doctor wrapped it himself. He shook his head no, "No... you just were passed out for a day.. all most two.." Alissa stood there, not responding. "Angel?" she began to cry, never had she cried so much in what seemed like a day. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to him without hurting himself. "Dear... you had to do it.... it had to be done..."

"She's gone... I killed her..." she whimpered, dampening Anthony's shirt. He cradled her in his arms in an attempt to comfort her. "Angel.. Alissa... it's better now... Don't think of it as if.. you killed Jorden..." gently placing his right hand on her chin, making her look at him. "You saved me, David, Michelle, and your babies.. Think of the wonders you did.." he kissed her lips then her forehead. She continued to cry but Anthony was right, she killed one person but she had saved five not including herself.

"I love you, Alissa..." he kissed her forehead once again. She smiled through her tears, "I.. love you too..." Alissa kissed him in return, on his lips. "I'm so happy that I'm here with you..." though the loss of Jorden had made her heart ache, the other people she loved were still alive. She had saved them from dying a worse fate then Jorden had. There was nothing she could do to bring Jorden back and she'd have to grow used to knowing that she was gone.

As for David? She had no idea if he was still going to be stubborn and refuse to go near them as he had for years. They didn't know why he chose to act this way but he did. Michelle would probably continue to work in her career and occasionally visit, as she always had.

The doorbell rang.

Anthony pulled away from Alissa to go open the door but she walked passed him to open it herself. "I'll get it.. you need to rest.." she chuckled, wiping away her tears. Her hands traced over the doorknob before she dared to open it. It was new to her, Jorden's world had no doors and now they were everywhere. She looked through the little eyehole than opened the door. A smile spread from ear to ear as she embraced their new guest.
