The day of the ball had finally come.It was going to be at nighttime,so Peach and Princess Birdo used the daytime to prepare."Princess Birdo,I think that red dress will look nice on you."She grabbed it and held it up to her,to see how it would fit."Perfect fit!"Peach smiled at her.Princess Birdo smiled back.That's when she realized why she had came to Peach in the first place.Not so she could sit and do nothing like she had on Birdo Island.And besides,dancing wasn't all that bad.She just needed to learn."Um,Birdo,are you ok?""Oh,yeah I am.Sorry,"she said,coming back from spacing out."Hey,Peach,you should try on that white dress!"She pointed to it so Peach would see."Oh,why yes!"Peach agreed and grabbed it."Wanna go to the fitting room?"Princess Birdo nodded.So they went to go try their dresses on,and came back out."You look beautiful,Princess Birdo!"Princess Birdo blushed,and looked at herself in the fitting room mirror.She defintely did look beautiful.She had never felt this womanly.Because on her home island,all she wore was the same usual pink and white dress.But now she felt like someone else."Yeah,I like it."she told Peach.So her and Peach bought the dresses,and went back to the Mushroom Kingdom...
