so yesterday was my birthday. the day i never really cared about.... but the one time i actually do start to think, 'hey... it's my birthday!' something bad happens... well i woke up. i walk out into the living room, and see that my parents are not home. i just think they went out to breakfast without me. i'm alright with that. i play WoW, talk to adam, get on gaia. then i take a shower, and decide to wear the same pants i wore yesterday... i reach into the pocket and pull out my phone. i have a message. it says my step dad's uncle died and they had to go see the family. i just think wow... and later on they call and say that we are all going to his grandma's house to visit with family..... adam calls on our way up there... he's in my front yard. his dad decided to let him come over after all.... i cry.... but later on (around 6:30) we pick him up and go out for dinner and i'm somewhat happy.... i feel selfish though.... i'm sad and unhappy that i didn't get a birthday when i should be sad that i lost someone (that i didn't know). =[
