Bleeding Heart
There was once a young girl,
Who thought she had everything.
But then he left.
Her heart bled with pain.
He was gone,
and she was alone.
No one was there to hold her.
No one was there to comfort her.
She died, lying right here,
Died from her wounded heart.
She wanted to go home.
But nobody was home.
So she lies here still,
wounded and bleeding.
Still wanting to go home,
Yet nobody's home.
She is dead,
And yet she is still alive.
She is alive in a way that should not be.
The only part alive...
Is her bleeding heart.
