Most of the Final Fantasy fans may realize that I am cosplaying a character from Final Fantasy X and X-2 on Gaia. I am currently in the process of collecting her dresspheres! Help is always appreciated! ^_^
.::About the Cosplay Character (the ALWAYS lovable Rikku!)::.

Age: 15 (FFX), 17 (FFX-2)

Tribe: Al Bhed
Languages: Al Bhed, English
Family: Cid (father), Brother (brother), Yuna (cousin)
Fears: Thunder (only in FFX), the Farplane

FFX Weapon: Claw
FFX-2 Weapon: Twin Daggers
FFX Official U.S. Profile: Rikku is a young Al Bhed girl. Her personality is upbeat and positive, and she is not afraid to speak her mind. She works hard to restore her outcast people to their former glory. Rikku handles mechanical enemies with ease, and can steal items from enemies, too.
FFX-2 Official U.S. Profile: In the two years since she helped Yuna defeat Sin, Rikku has travelled with other Al Bhed around Spira, teaching people all there is to know about machina. During the so-called "search for truth" that overtook Spira after Sin's defeat, a group of Al Bhed joined the ranks of sphere hunters. With their airship the Celsius as a base, Rikku and her Brother founded the Gullwings. Rikku invited Yuna to join the Gullwings, and they have been traveling together ever since. As always, Rikku's endless supply of energy keeps the team on their toes.
Growth and Change:
During Final Fantasy X, Rikku was the little girl of the group. She was affectionate, loud, nosy, and always had an opinion on something. However, something that people often overlook is that Rikku was very inexperienced in the world of Spira. She was hesitant in certain things and trusting people she didn't know was something she was still getting used to. After all, remember how she first met Tidus? She knocked him unconscious, just in case he was a “bad-guy”. It took her a while to finally open up to Tidus. She didn't even start speaking English to him until he was taken prisoner onto her ship. It's plain to see that she was used to her own people -- trusting someone she didn't know was pretty much out of the question. Rikku also often refused to take part in activities and prefered to be left behind, such as the journey through the Thunder Plains and the Farplane. She tried to look at the bright side to life, but as far as making changes to the darker side, she just didn't have the motivation.
Final Fantasy X-2 takes place two years after the end of the previous game. This is where we see the latest Rikku. Rikku has traveled throughout Spira countless times; she knows the places and the people, unlike before. As her new outfit points out very clearly, Rikku is now open to anything and everything. This is the 100% outgoing Rikku. She even camped out in the Thunder Plains to overcome her fear of lightning, which in FFX she screamed and complained about until the party left the area. She is also open to meeting new people and would easily strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Rikku has gained responsibility, trust, and an open heart throughout the journey. She really puts herself out there and doesn't hold back like she used to.
