A crappy lil parody poem I wrote for English the other day. Just felt like putting it here. Please don't criticize too much. I know it's stupid; it's supposed to be.

A Boy Named Huck
There once was a boy named Huck.
He had no amount of luck.
His Pap would get drunk
And come home a punk,
Often times smelling like skunk.
Pap got home one night,
And had a terrible fright.
An ax in the door,
Huck’s blood on the floor,
With tracks that led to the shore.
Pap was appalled;
His son had been mauled.
Some were glad,
Others were sad;
Huck really had been rather rad.
Everyone came to console Pap
Who turned out to be quite a sap.
There was no one to blame,
No body to claim,
Without Huck, it would never be the same.
Little did they know,
It had all been a show.
