I just got back from my orchestra concert. It sounded pretty good. I am in the advanced group and we played "Blue Fire Fiddler," "Sheperd's Hey," and "Waltz from Sleeping Beauty." Oh, I love that last song! As a group, it sounded pretty good, but I screwed up quite a few times. xp The 7th graders were really good! And they were huge. 49 of them, I think. And 15 violas! That's awesome because you don't see much viola players. Mainly cello and violin... sweatdrop The all eight grade group.....erm.....they weren't the um -cough- ahem, best of the groups. Their sound was small and weak. There were quite a few intonation errors and some ensemble errors. On one song, the 1st violins shifted to 3rd position and reached high up with their fourth finger. Right when they shifted, things got quieter. And the fourth fingers were out of tune. Their second song was boring...Anywho....I wish Concert orchestra could be like the concert orchestra two years ago. They were.....flawless pretty much. There were lots of talented players. I wish I was that good...Well I made fettuccini alfredo for din-din and my dad ate pretty much all of it! stressed He thinks he is free to any food that is set out! That's why we have to hide the food we want to keep....
