I know this is sad in more then one way but it seems I need to get it out of my head and writing it out helps.
My resent ex. boyfriend gave me a red betta fish ( chinese fighting fish ) for our 1 yr aniversery. He had it waitting for me in the bowl I'd pointed out to him mounths earlier while walking by Petco( very sweet of him but Petco is still cruel to its animals!!!! ).
I told him I was death too all plants, fish and anything else small and sensitive( they only live about a week in my care). But he ashured me it would live and he was right till late last week when my big, healthy fish had just settled into his new 2 and half gallon tank got a swollen eye ( its a sickness called pop-eye ). Id had scares with the fishes health ever srnce Id broken up with the boyfriend of 2 1/2 yrs about 5 months ago.
It seems that my fish's health was magicly tied to how I was doing friendship-wise with the ex boyfriend. On that note I have a stain from insence oil, shaped like a 2 inch betta swimming across my desk right by my fish's first bowl was set up. I thought it was somthing of a good luck charm seeing how the fish had out lived all its pedisesors.
So i geuss thats all on that for now thanx for reading if you did...... *sigh* I should write more on my pent up feeling about the ex. and the people I date now but to many loose lipped "friends" are on this site ready and willing to use the infomation to screw me over with the knowlege.
