I wear my heart upon my shoulders,
For the world to see the sap that I am,
How easilly I get mad is as plain to see,
Just as the aching pain inside of me.
My eyes are but an open book,
For the world to see the child that I am,
How easilly I break with such simple words,
With living my life amongst such cowards.
My ears uncovered to the harsh sounds,
For the world to tell me of how unwanted I am,
How easilly I panic before growing angry and cry,
Hot tears racing down my cheeks before I even know why.

For the world to use me when they can,
How easilly twisted my blind mind can be,
When the helpless sit there before me.
My soul roaming so carelessly,
For the world to break it down to fit,
How easilly it cries out not to fit that perfect mold,
That one perfect shape it just can't behold.
My arms withheld for all to scar,
For the world to cut and bleed me dry,
How easilly my skin tears and bleeds,
New scars for me to remember it by.
