Yami no Matsuei:
arrow Book 5. Probably the best book to make into anime... kind of a filler thing that doesn't mess too much with the plot.
arrow Wakaba and Terazuma. Wakaba is so awesome in the manga, but in the anime, she gets this "schoolgirl co-worker" part. While Terazuma gets no part. He appears in two episodes and the opening sequence, but he's just THERE. He doesn't do anything.
arrow The shikigami. The role of the shiki is severely played down. What you know: Tsuzuki summons three shiki, Byakko, Suzaku, and Touda, and it's kind of hinted he can summon 12. (O, Twelve Gods that protect me...) But you don't know the process of capturing the shiki, and all the awesome things in the last three (published) volumes. It probably won't be done, because the story kinda trails off in the end.
Waah! cry 13 episodes is not enough!
Crescent Moon:
This is my friend's favorite manga, and the first one that I read. The series is six volumes long, so the story's finished. But there's all this awesome stuff with werewolves, vampires, and fox demons that I would like to see in anime form. And the transformations would be so cool!
Not part of the rant:The manga itself is pretty good, but the way it was translated is kind of hard to understand. There were a lot of typos. Usually, when I see a typo in manga, I'm just kind of like, "that's annoying." and I keep reading. But some of the typos in Crescent moon are a little plot-crucial (there are two characters, Mitsuru and Mutsura, but sometimes it would read "Mutsuru" or "Mitsura" wink But it's good, check it out! scream BACK TO MY RANTING!
I was at Target recently and I saw the DVD for The Covenant. The description on the back sounded like a potential good anime.
