Word Bank.
Enough to remind me of who I was.
Review: Angel Sanctuary
After seeing an ad for it in the back of almost every volume of Descendants of Darkness, I finally decided to buy Angel Sanctuary.
I'm pretty satisfied with the series, but there are two things...

1) The incest. I, of course, knew about it beforehand (though I'm not sure who told me first), but I think it's sad that they can't really fall in love with each other. Then I realize, "Ew. I have a brother. This would be really creepy in real life." and feel all weird for thinking Sara and Setsuna belong together. I'm sorry, but I'm pretty incest-phobic (or whatever the actual term is). But still, I like the series. (weird?)

2) All the angel-names. All of the angels have names like Alexiel, Rosiel, Lafayel...
And there are a lot of angels. And I'm pretty used to Japanese names in manga, so it's difficult for me to remember who's who. (and I know Lafayel was from Juvenille Orion, it was just what I could come up with.)

Rating: 8/10
Definitely shojo. I know some of my male friends who read it, but it's a pretty girly series. Yeah, and I'd recommend it more to only children or people with a sibling of the same gender because the incest thing is really creepy if you think about it in perspective of your life *shivers*.
Series: Yami no Matsuei, any other series by Kaori Yuki (i.e. Count Cain, Godchild), Juvenille Orion (mabye), D.N.Angel (again, mabye).
