Or rather, more importantly:
My FINAL year.
Seniorseniorsenior.
Today was indeed the first day of school.
And man, what a way to start off my last year!
I was late for school.
LAAAATE.
The plan was to wake up around 6, you know,
get there around 7 so that I could be nice and early.
Check out the n00bs and such.
It didn't work out that way.
Firstly, my mom wakes me up with a terrifying question:
"Isn't school starting today?"
When I grabbed my phone to check the time, it was exactly 10 minutes
after the school's first bell should have gone.
I was all ''''0_______0''''!!
So 7:35, I jump out of bed,
got myself dressed, and had my dad drive me to school.
I arrived around 8.
Once I got to the school, everything started to go all mellow again.
So much so, I even started to ponder going back home for some breakfast.
x____x
Luckily, I didn't get into too much trouble.
The whole school was gathered for an assembly,
so I was pretty much alone in the building.
I decided to make my way to the front desk, if only to find out where I should go.
The secretaries are nice peoples, and I went to see them
to not only say that I was late, but to see if I could find out
in what class I was this year, as well as to hear about the day's schedule.
I didn't miss all that much.
While the assembly was going on, I sat waiting outside my register class.
Quite the anti-climax.
The rest of the day was pretty boring.
My schoolbag is back to its heavy old self already.
I can't wait to have to carry that thing all the way back tomorrow.
=______=
We don't have lockers, you know.
We also have all seven our periods each day, so the book load stays constant.
YAY, CONSTANT.
Well, at least I now have something to remember this year by.
You can bet that I'll not easily forget to set the day for an alarm, either.
(I'd forgotten that Friday was the only day ticked off for my morning call.
That's what got me into that mess.
-_______-)
I'm glad that none of the big bosses came across me sitting there,
else there would certainly have been more drama.
Speaking of which, I would like to now share with you
my dismay at the news that my favorite teacher is leaving.
Miss Wiese is going to a different school.
Who's going to handle our drama now?
I mean, she was a big part of what actually made it fun and enjoyable.
She was also our English teacher, and the Primary Language group
had hoped to have her as our teacher again this year.
Lastly, she was the head of the Library's stuff.
Who's going to be in charge now?
I don't want to have to work under any of the other teachers,
especially since it was Miss Wiese that elected me as the representative
for all of us that work there.
I'M GOING TO MISS HER.
AND MY MARKS MIGHT SUFFER.
DON'T GO, MA'AM!
T___________T
Well, I have books to cover.
And a driving lesson at 3.
So...
Bye.
