3 WAY TRADES
WHAT IS A 3 WAY TRADE?
a 3 way trade is a trade involving 3 accounts.
HOW IT WORKS
a user will usually contact you by PM and ask you to trade an item to a friend and in return he/she will trade you something.
here is an example:
"hi, i see you have a demonbow for sale. i will trade you 200k for it, but you have to send the trade to my mule account. after you complete the trade with my mule i will send you the 200k."
here is another example:
"i will trade you my kiki for your gwee. send the trade please."
after you send the trade...
"my kiki is on another account. complete the trade with me then i will send you the kiki from my other account."
these are SCAMS. do not fall for them. they are not going to keep up their end of the deal.
never accept a trade unless you see what you want to get in return on the other side of the trade window.
if you get a PM like these, ask the person to get the items/gold on the account they want to do the trade with first. if they refuse or say they can't. REFUSE TO DO THE TRADE.
IF YOU FELL FOR ONE OF THESE SCAMS
[REPORT A SCAMMING]
TAKE SCREEN CAPS of the PM/ post or where ever they provided the details of the scam and the trades.
TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS
if you think a trade sounds fishy or too good to be true, don't do it.
if someone wants to trade you something and it is of a ridiculously higher value than what they are asking it's a scam 99.9% of the time.
if you have ANY doubts, don't do the trade.
PLEASE DO NOT EVER GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET HACKED.
