Yes, that's right. This entry will be about what I look for in a guy. I've been asked that question a few times. I never had an answer because I never thought about it. Well, last night, I did. I thought about it really good. I can be very picky sometimes, so yeah. whee And so, I shall begin~!
First of all, he has to be nice. Sure he can joke around being mean and all, but in reality, he has to be nice! I don't want some mean b*****d for a boyfriend. Sure, i can be a total b***h, but I have my reasons! It's mostly because I'm in a bad mood or I'm PMSing. eek Oh yes, beware when I'm on my pms. It's one of the scariest things ever; I'm unpredictable! So, yeah, my guy has to be nice. biggrin
My guy also has to be comfortable talking about personal things such as pms. Guys may think, "Ew, that's so gross!" Well, guess what, men? It's HELL for us females having our pms. No, I'm not saying girls go through a much worse time than guys. When guys get hit in the family jewels, they go through hell. Same way with girls. They get their pms, it's just dreadful. We want it to be over as soon as possible! gonk
The guy also has to be comfortable with sexual jokes/content. Yeah, my mind's in the gutter a lot. I can be a little pervert sometimes. So what? Everyone acts like a pervert every now and then. whee But with me, it's a lot. Why? Well, let's hope I get to introduce you to my friends at school some time. smile I'm sure you'll learn a lot that you never knew about sexual stuff. xd So, uhm, yeah, he has to be extremely comfortable with such subjects.
I want to be able to trust in him. I don't want him running around with other girls. D': I don't want a player for a boyfriend! No, just NO! I also want him to be able to trust in me. We both have to trust each other. Trust helps build a relationship. We have to give each other space and be able to know we're not gonna cheat on each other or something ridiculous as that.
He also has to be interested in some things I'm interested in. I mean, wouldn't it be so boring if we both aren't into the same thing? What kind of conversations would we have?! It'd be a boring relationship! He's got to be into anime/manga, cartoons (it's the same as anime!), horror, comedy and a lot of other stuff to have interesting conversations about. BUT if there are certain things he likes and I don't like, vice-versa, then a deal has to be made. An example would be that I like *thinks of an anime that most people like and some people hate with a passion* Inu-yasha but he doesn't. He likes pokemon, and I don't (I'm sorry, I used to like pokemon, but I don't anymore. >.< wink . We make a deal : he gets to make fun of/hate on Inu-yasha as long as I get to make fun of/hate on pokemon. If we can't agree on that, then we don't ever speak of them to avoid arguements.
He also has to be a friend. I want my boyfriend to also be a friend. I don't constantly want to have to be all lovey dovey with him. I want to act with him like I do with my friends. He has to be a good friend like he is a good boyfriend. That way, we can have fun! biggrin He's gotta be a fun guy with his friends, so yeah!
This is something that has to matter to him the most:
personality > looks
He's gotta like me for my personality and me than just for my looks. If he likes me for my looks alone, then I don't want him. sad My personality has to be more important than my looks. I hate it when guys are only looking for a "hot" girlfriend. For all they know, this "hot" girl could be a total b***h! Or, she'll only date him for the size of his friggin' wallet! She could also be one of those insane girlfriends that have to have revenge on the guy if they dump her. Kinda like in the movie My Super Ex-Girlfriend. So very clingy and needy. That's just friggin' scary, man. O.o Also, because this girlfriend is so "hot" she could be a player. Always cheating on you. I hate that. But, hey, if they're fine with that, then I won't say anything.
I want for us both to be able to help each other if one of us in distress. We've got to lighten each other's day up when it's gloomy.
I'm pretty sure there's more. So, when I think more about it, I'll edit this entry. But for now, this is what I came up with.
