heart As her skin tore and the blade pierced her flesh, her cries of terror echoed throughout the empty room. The stab marks covered her body, and the blood made a path to the crack beneath the door. It would turn out to be the only thin that would ever escape. The only thing the ever so sharp blade had not touched was her heart. It was protected by the one shield that can not be broken. The shield was love. Her heart still beat even though her lifeless body had been forgotten. She was soon forgotten by everyone, they didn't even take the time to bury her. They let her sink to the bottom of the ocean, but her heart still beat. heart
