Getting a theme
You can find a profile theme in my jounal, F!zzbangs journal, bluessences journal or the most popular: www.tektek.org.
I prefer using journal themes from gaia itself as it is less-popular which means you will be one of the very few people who will be lucky enough to have that particular theme. Thats why i learnt to make my own themes and I am willing to pass on that knowlege to you.
Modification
Theme modification is how all the proffesional theme makers began their long and tedious quest. It is simply getting a theme that you like and modifying it a bit to reach your standards. Thats how i first started making themes.

HOW TO MKAE YOUR VERY OWN THEME!
Ok. here is some simple instructions to get you started on your theme making.
If you are given a simple base code this is how you modify it.
EXAMPLE:
body

background: #000000 url(insert the url for the background you want here) no-repeat fixed left;
}
table, #profile, #header, #content, #details, #main, #journal, #multimedia, #signature, #wishlist, #comments{background: transparent;}
#extendedProfileBody #header h1 { background: #000 url(insert the url of the header you want here) top center no-repeat; border: 2px;
And thats a really simple way of making your own theme. If you dont no how to get a image url, may i suggest www.photobucket.com or maybe you should try www.imageshack.com
Pretty soon you will get the hang of making your own themes and you can add cursors scrollbars, and glows.
if you aelrady have a theme and wish to add theese to them try theese codes in your theme vody.
