Have I ever mentioned how much I HATE NEEDLES?
"Isn't that a bit much for kids?" I asked Nissa, looking at the two kids at my feet.
Her hologram form appearing in front of me, Nerissa explained to me what Wynn had told her. "At the moment, we have no reason to trust these two regardless of who they are."
"We warned her not to tell anyone," Scuro said.
"We really did not want to meet you this way," Litch said.
Before anyone could react, Scuro and Litch stood up and increased to seven feet tall. In a blink of an eye, Scuro picked me up by my throat and slammed me against the corridor wall. Withdrawing a rather large needle from within her shirt, Litch jabbed it in the place where my neck met my shoulder and injected the canary yellow liquid into me. Closing my eyes as the liquid was injected into me, I heard Nissa and Xangord finally react.
Finally, Scuro removed her hand from my neck and I was allowed to slide to the floor.
