Xangord's PoV
"Man! I was looking forward to the fight!" Nogard sulked.
"That is the last thing we need right now," Xangord said. To the girl the android was pinning down, Xangord said, "Listen to it child. Nogard is no longer an enemy."
"I'll be your enemy if you don't release me right now!" Nogard said to Xangord.
Twitching her hand, Nogard created a band of smoke that wrapped around Nogard's mouth to silence her. Turning to Nissa, I said, "What happened to you?"
"I didn't tell you?" Nissa asked. "Dragon attacked when she went psycho."
"Okay," I replied.
From the table, Dragon hissed, "Eeeeeeeeegg."
Turning sharply, I walked over to Dragon. "What did you say?"
Instead of replying, Dragon suddenly lunged against her restraints. Snapping them, Dragon wrapped her transformed hands around my throat and lifted me off the ground. Slamming me against the wall, she placed a hand against my stomach.
"Xangord!" Nissa yelled, running forward.
"Kill her!" Nogard said happily as my smoke bonds fell away since my concentration was diverted.
Looking over her shoulder, Dragon shot a spray of acid at Nissa and Nogard. Turning her attention back to me, Dragon hissed again but this time the words were jumbled. The hand on my stomach began to dangerously increase in pressure. This all was happening in a matter of seconds.
"Don't you TOUCH Xink!" I yelled, pushing off the wall enough to create a Smoke Demon behind Dragon. The demon grabbed Dragon and pulled her backwards. Falling to the ground, I gasped for breath since Dragon had been pressing down on my throat to throttle me.
With my concentration broke a second time, the Smoke Demon faded away for a moment for Dragon to grab a handful of my hair. Concentrating again, I had the Smoke Demon pull Dragon back. Looking at the girl and her friends, I yelled, "If you got something planned, do it now!"
