We visited the local Graveyard in English Class today. We were put in groups of two and given a blindfold. The one not wearing the blindfold was to guide the blind one around, allowing them to feel the stones and smell the smells ans hear the sounds and all that. We're to write an essay about the experience later.
It was an awesome experience. I want to say spiritual, but I dont know if that's the proper word for what I felt... at any rate, it was magical. I didnt feel nervous walking blind around a bunch of graves... I was totally in a Zen like state, and just taking in my surroundings with everything except my eyes. Kinda makes you think about all kinds of things... I could have been in that blindfolded states for hours on end. I loved it... the feelings I felt I cannot even describe, but I was sorry to let them go.
It was... cool. No two ways about it.
