Well I've come to the point where I love and hate my current character on EQ2. I love that she's a paladin and that she's almost lvl. 20 and that she's got that whole cool elven warrior chick thing going on. I hate that the Halfelves are the ugliest elven race and she's halfelven. Vanity doesn't play into this as much as you'd think its just a matter of being satisfied w/ my character.

I started talking about this to my friends and lots of talk about maybe making a new character of a new race, maybe even new class and hometown. Kain mentioned how much easier it would be if I was one of the Freeport races and Chaos kept pushing for me to be a healer. And they did say no preassure, but lets face it even when you don't mean to, you can still be a heavy influence on your friends. So I narrowed my choices down to three choices work really hard on editing my Halfelven Paladin. Make a Darkelven Shadowknight, or DarkElven Warden.

But I've made my decision based on my own experience. Here are the conclusions I've drawn after thinking about it for 2 days:

1.Healer/magic user only: Fun in a group, but could get boring. Playing solo sucked worse than a Hoover vacuum.

2. Frighter type: Fun in and out of group, sucked if outnumbered & hated not being able to help my friends more healtwise.

3. Paladin: Fun in group & solo, fight & heal great. Bad side is my friends are from the "evil" town so its way harder to group together and its time comsuming to travel to each other and we can't go to each other's hometowns...well it's really really hard.

Yeah I decided to go w/ a fourth choice and it's the hardest one to pull off, but it will definately be the most satisfying. I'm gonna remake my Paladin as a Wood Elf. Story wise I'm still gonna say she's half human half elven, but looks more like her elven dad. ^_^ wish me luck. Oh and for the hell of it here are some pics of fictional characters that have influenced me.

*edit* yesterday I made a new character A Darkelven Warden named Yumae...yeah Yume was already taken what can I say? Its like how Mayve was originally supposed to be spelled Maeve, but it was taken. Anyway I didn't delete my Pally I'm gonna hold onto her when I get the itch to play a goody goody. After all she may have an overbite(stupid Halfelven models) but she's almost lvl 20 and I had fun playing as her. She deserves better than to be cast aside. I am gonna change her features a little when I get a chance tho. smile OH and as for my dark elf, Yay I have purple eyes! *ahem* yeah okay I'm done now.*edit*
