Well, my first entry in awhile...I need gold. >W<

I was recorded today--if any of you reading this don't know, I'm in a sort of music program at my school, where instead of art, metal shop, and all the like, we're recording/playing/preforming/practicing some music. Our school is very music-oriented, we even have a small recording studio dubbed 'charger records,' run by our guitar ensemble director.

anyway, my language arts teacher was recording me, so at the end of the year, I can see how much I improved--I dunno why he isn't a music teacher, he's freaking amazing at almost every instrument.

He said I wasn't standing close anough to the mic, for one thing. And by the end, when there was finally a version I wanted, I was getting ready to leave, and he asked me an odd sort of question...

"Are you self-conscious about your voice? Is that why you wouldn't get too close to the mic?"

It sort of struck me, and I guess I was telling the truth when I said "Kind of," though it was a bit more than that...

"Well, you shouldn't be."

It just made me happy, so I decided to write it down. ^w^

Also, I finally ate something today--A+ for me, I guess... neutral I felt like throwing up all day, my stomach hurt so much...and I dropped some weight as well. But I dunno if I'm going to put it back on or not...we'll just see about that...
