For today was my first day of school.
My first day of HIGH SCHOOL. ;]
Indeed a JOYOUS OCCASION.
Well, I have to walk to school now. It's not too far away--about like, fifteen minutes? Not too bad. I like walking, anyway. And Julio keeps me company all the time, so yay. Well, I got there a little late, since I had to walk my little brother to HIS school, and all the freshmen were in the cafeteria and like...this lady was talking, and the Student Council (if you will) and stuff.
My classes~:
(1) Geometry: Too quiet. My teacher seems nice. o.o But DAMN. QUIET. AND THE SEATS ARE UNCOMFORTABLE, OMG.
(2) Biology: ...My teacher looks like an older Bill Nye the Science Guy with a mustache. Seriously.
(3) Personal Finances: Well, my brother told me Mrs. Stubbs was an absolute bee-otch. It's only been one day, but I am beginning to agree with him. D: This chick has a stick up her a**.
(4) Band: YAY. BAND. AND I ACTUALLY HAVE FRIENDS IN THIS CLASS, UNLIKE THE THREE BEFORE. YAY.
(5) Personal Fitness [PE or whatevaaaar]: I am so looking forward to this class. Honestly. Because, A) We don't do running drills, unless we choose to do it for our warm-up drills (which we do individually anyway), B) WE GET TO GO BOWLING LATER IN THE YEAR, and C) Homies. Fo' sho'. 8D
(6) Honors World History: Mr. Drouet owns. Srsly. I like this dude already. He kinda looks and acts like a hippie, but he's like...likeable. And I enjoyed History when I took it before in eighth grade, in Mr. McElroy (from Florida) AND Dr. Mills(from here)'s classes. :B
(7) Honors Literature: I like Language Arts and reading and all that. But something tells me I will NOT LIKE THIS CLASS. The teacher doesn't seem remotely friendly. At all. And she looks freakin' ancient, with the Albert Einstein look. D:
Seminar (study hall, basically): The classroom is RLYRLY nice and old school-looking. xD And...that's all, really.
OMG. I thought High School was supposed to be more interesting. D: But it's only been one day, so yup. I can't WAIT 'til next year, 'cause I like it when there's some ******** students younger than me. >>;;; And like, in nearly all my classes, there's like...older people. Meaning seniors, sophmores, and juniors. And it's intimidating. REALLY intimidating.
...In short, older teenagers scare me IRL. gonk
And--!! Since it's allowed, I, with the help of a friend, am going to establish an anime club since there isn't one already. I will recruit members, and I have SO MANY IDEAS of what we could do. ;D We ARE allowed to make clubs, as long as they're pre-approved anyway, and we get a teacher as a sponser. I'm thinkin' my World History teacher, since he mentioned how he's into comics, and manga is a form of comics and what not. So hopefully, he's familiar with this kind of stuff so I won't feel like an idiot if I ask him. o.o But first, I gotta get people at school that are FOR the idea to sign a list. When it gets to like, fifty or seventy-five, I'll meet up with the principal and ask him/her.
Hah. I'm gonna be the best freshmen EVER. cool
