Mood: Couldn't care less/Slightly depressed, but that should go away tomorow, usually does.
Music: Aerosmith - Dream on (Live)
Hello all, first entry since I came back from camp,
Well, not alot has changed in my life, camp was hectic as always.
Firstly we got there, got yelled at, set up tents, gathered firewood, my patrol cooked dinner (Just the start of me doing just about all the cooking on the camp) and then we did the washing up aswell and made the campfire. I had a sore throat after the first few hours after telling people to stop pissing around and do some work. The campfire wasnt bad, I lead that too (Cause the other PL's couldn't be arsed) and then we went to bed. Well, all the PL's came back to my tent to play cards. xd
Morning, and guess who ended up cooking breakfast? No, trick question, it was Iain's patrol, but mine did most of the preparation so there!
We ate, washed up, then went canoeing. I didn't fall in and I got complimented on my silky skillz! blaugh The instrustors name was Jamie, he was sound. I made friends with him! (I have a very good talent at making friends with complete strangers) After canoeing, the other group went in the water and my group (When I say groups, we were split into two teams of 9. My group went canoeing first and the other just pissed about in the shallows) well, we just dried off and sat down being all tired.
We went back to the camp ate lunch. The PL's claimed a rock so we had our lunch there while the midgets (I always call anyone who's not an APL or PL a midget) ate on the grass and the scout leaders got the tables.
I think we just worked the rest of that day collecting wood and getting the rest of the kit up the huge hill to the campsite. (The leaders decided to pick the place where the most work was required to shift everything up to the campsite)
Guess who prepared and cooked dinner? Me and the rest of the patrol. Iain's patrol won the daily camp competition that night and in doing so, got coke and mars bars. I vowed I'd win the next day... I took the campfire again. Sore voice and running out of songs so it wasnt great, but I entertained some of them with the bear hunt one. Asda...lol....don't ask! xd
Can't be bothered listing everything now, too much effort, basicly I won the next two daily camp compatitions and we got some explorers to help with our campfire. Me, Iain and Edward got complimented on setting up such a realistic incident hike, but I did most the work, they just lay on the ground while 15 younger scouts stuck bits of grass up their noses when they got bored.
Camp Quotes:
Steve (Scout leader): Don't over cooook it!!! (While putting up the mess tent, we always take the piss out of him because of the way he says cook)
Alex (Cool little midget scout): My mum's name is Eve and my dad's is St so they call me Steeve! (Taking the piss out of steve on the hike) rofl rofl rofl
So we all got back safe and I didnt give anybody food poisoning so that goes in the win collum.
Back on gaia and MSN. Todays was a mixture of both good and bad.
- I woke up at 2pm (Very good thing)
- Had camp hangover*
*Camp hangover is the name I give to what happens during and after camping. Basicly, you stink of smoke and no matter how hard you try, its impossible to get it away within 5-10 days. Things like "******** it, it'll sort itself out" dominate your thoughts and basicly your in a bad mood but are too sleep deprived to show it. Also you get a wierd taste on your tounge...which I really don't know what does that. (I've checked with others and they confirm it, it happens to them too)
Spoke to Nikola for a while on MSN. She's in Berwick right now, I miss her lots.
I brought her back a little pressie, but no telly what it is, cause she has internet down there and can check my journal! ninja mrgreen
She was at the beach, but i'll let her explain that when she gets back... xd
We discussed going down to Edinburgh for the weekend.
Train tickets are £57.50 each for a return journey where as its £50 for us all (5 people) to travel to Edinburgh and back thanks to the miricle of Megabus.
Started to learn "Dream on" on guitar, its easy enough. The live version is so much better I think, they always play this song better live than they do in a recording studio, just extra little riffs and some added orgasmic sounds xd
I had a dream last night, but as usual I didn't remember it! xd
Apparently you always have dreams, just you only remember the ones that are kinda interesting or if its about someone you love, or it causes you distress...
******** hell I hate these bloody pop ups, not just from the internet but from norton aswell saying "Your virus protection is out of date, your computer is at serious risk".
NO ITS NOT! FOR ******** SAKE, MY COMPUTER IS FINE! I HAVE 3 PROGRAMMES CONSTANTLY CHECKING MY COMPUTER FOR VIRUSES AND BUGS AND SINCE I GOT THEM FROM AOL, THEY ARE FREE AND GET UPDATED FOR FREE, SO ******** OFF NORTON!
I downloaded LimeWire Pro last night, but because i'm a scaf and can't be bothered paying for things, I devised a cunning plan to get it for free! xd
Anyone wanting to know how, send me gold!!!! twisted twisted twisted
Oh yeah, pictures of the ring, sorry but I really can't be arsed uploading them, so anyone thats close to me can ask and i'll send 'em to you rather than putting them on here.
Why does IE ******** up so easily? It says "Error on page" but does pish all about it. Ah well, it works, so im not complaining. The ******** parental control options on AOL don't let me see ANY pictures off of gaia, so this does me fine.
Bored writing now, so im off to surf gaia.
Leave a comment, they are much luffed!
Peace out!
