tarot card of the day: six of wands, reversed
excess pride, lack of recognition, punishment
this isn't a great card to get, but it's day two of doing bedtime stretches after living a mostly sedentary life for several years, so we're gonna see if two days in a row is too much or if maybe i can keep this up for a while. it's a mystery! how fun!
i think that i'm enjoying it though. like it's nice to be stretching again even if i'm probably pushing it because i'm an ex jock now disabled and mostly spending my life in bed. i love the feeling of the strain and of the ache after i'm done.
like, chronic pain doesn't feel good obviously, but the aches and pains of exercise are very similar. the primary difference of course is that i worked for it this time, and it's my wonderful reward for a job well done.
...well, time to sleep and find out if i can get out of bed tomorrow!
