- Today started out like any regular day.
I had just gottten home from my one-day vacation at a waterpark, and I wasn't feeling very well. My head hurt and my stomach ached. We went to my Grandma's to see how my Grandpa's doing, and he's not doing well. He had had a mini-stroke last night, and he could barely talk today. I came downstairs to check Gaia and see what had happened while I was gone. Moved some threads, checked my comments, nothing out of the ordinary.
Later, I came home. I made myself some lunch and logged on Gaia, hanging out in the panty auction that Shockies hosting that I'm in. A bidder comes in and bids 200k on one of her friends. I was shocked. But, everything kept going normal. I was talking to a friend about how I had lost my Angelic scarf & afk, and how I wish I had kept it.
About 30 minutes later, I have a trade waiting for me. I go to look at it, and I see that it was the bidder who had bidded 200k on her friend. I open the trade and see it.

I started shaking - my palms sweaty. I could barely breathe, and I was trying to make sure this wasn't just a dream.
I went back to the thread and saw that she had been talking about giving me something, so I accepted it.
8 1/2 months of trying to get my angelic scarf back...thinking it was impossible...
And she came along.
I am forever indebted to this stranger - a person I had just happened to come across in the thread. A person who changed my Gaian life forever.
