Gotta love those three day weekends! Saturday I started my yoga classes. I love it and can't wait until next Saturday. Even if I couldn't get into the Maya classes I wanted, I was able to start yoga and I'm pretty happy about it. I went to my good friend Target and bought myself a new yoga outfit for this weekend. Yippee!
As for the rest of the weekend, I spent a good little amount of time going through my clothes and organizing my closet. Yes, I'm STILL doing that. I've got way too many clothes and not enough to wear. My wardrobe is going through a gradual and painstaking overhaul. I got myself one of those wonderful little drawer organizers at the Container store and now I can find matching socks, bras and panties without having to shuffle through fifteen beejillion non-matching socks and tights. Go me! I really believe there is little worse than searching through a full drawer only to find you have no panties. I also bought myself three pink bras (yay pink!). There are not many things nicer than a new bra. Happy day!
Yesterday I finished a new picture. I am really happy with how it turned out and so I am also using it in the store. It's of Ian Lochinvar, Eileen's father. I have started making bio's for all the characters and so far I have his and Andgi's in the character art section.
Oh, there is also apparently a sale going on in the store for sweatshirts and long sleeve t-shirts. I don't know if they are about to discontinue them for the season, so if you're wanting one, be sure to get them while you can. You can also get free coffee with the large mug and the travel mug. Neat! Cafepress is also having a coupon sale. If you go to the store you can see the details of it at the top of the shopping pages.
Shopping is a lot of fun, even when you're not buying anything. I've added a section in my Linx for online stores that I love to shop. So far there is just a link to my store and to Genki Gang! Genki Gang is a really cool site where you can get adorable animal hats, custom hats, and they are starting a cosplay clothing section too. I've had my eye on their evil bunny hat for a while now. My mom says that I'm too old for that cute stuff, but I think that's crazy. When you're young, you can't have things because they're "too expensive and when you're older you can finally buy the stuff for yourself.
I love being old enough to buy myself cool things!
