Okay, so I know the topics I write about are sad. It isn’t meant to be happy. sad
I write about depression, suicide, drug abuse and more because I want to help people to start important conversations. Conversations that will hopefully save lives. I want people to understand that there are those who really struggle with these emotions, and don’t know how to talk about it without someone showing concern.
I’m someone who’s struggled with depression my entire life. I’ve attempted suicide. I’ve abused alcohol (thankfully I never turned to drugs). And I know many people on this site have been or are still in the same predicament.
I’ve come a long way, and I want to help others do the same. heart
