It's where I hide my art
Entry #1: Premature Awakening
It all rushed back to him. The light of life. The feeling of oxygen surging though-out his lungs and hissing as he breathed out, trying to calm himself. After the fit of coughing had ceased, Fafnir looked around inquisitively, but found himself unfamiliar with his surroundings. It was not confusion that resounded within his mind, but a ting of fear and dash of worry. What the... Darkness. There was nothing but darkness. He turned his head all around, but only to confirm that there was a vast void of nothingness surrounding him. There was simply nothing at all. Nothing to see, hear, touch, or even taste! There was nothing. Where am I? He thought to himself. Thinking back to his last conscious moment, everything up to his death seemed like a blur, or a dream. All of his memories of his former life seemed be disappearing in the very dark recesses of his mind to the point where he wasn't sure if he even remembered 'who' he was before.

The last thing he remembered clear was that woman's eyes before she stuck him like pig and he had faded into the afterlife. If I ever get near that woman again, I'll....I'll... Fafnir lost his train of thought as he tried to move around to no success. Even as simple as moving his fingers was impossible. He soon realized that he couldn't feel that he even had a body anymore. He was about to speak to see if he could even do that simple task but halted as he heard the sound of the water. The sea...? Are we near the sea? He mumbled in his thoughts, trying to think furiously on what happened and where could could he be but then he found himself, once again, suddenly stopping in his tracks. The entire time he was "conscious" he could only feel himself. Now he could feel a presence. It was overwhelming and felt as boulders were being placed on top of him. Fafnir grimaced as he resisted the force as much as he could but then he saw it. Those lavender eyes again.

At first they were far away and not paying attention to him but it seemed as soon as he realized she existed, she acknowledge him. In a snap of motion, the eyes quickly focused on where Fafnir was and all you could hear was a small chuckle before following with a sigh. The eyes started to move closer towards him and with each inch following closer, the weight increased. Fafnir faltered slightly and almost lost control as he still continued to resist the unyielding and overwhelming force that seemed to plague him. She covered half the distance and the weight had been doubled multiple times over and yet Fafnir still held. This seemed to have brought a smile to her face as he was able to see that toothy grin again, exactly just like before he was impaled. It was quiet for seconds as the set of eyes watched Fafnir struggle to hold his own against the unknown force that was trying to crush them. Then she spoke. "It's comforting you are strong. But it's a pity you waste it fighting something you can't hope to conquer."

Fafnir stared at her for the longest time before he thought about her words clearly but it was too late when he had realized her intentions. The lavender eyes had disappeared from existence as did the weighty force. In just a short moment, she had disappeared and Fafnir was left in the dark once more. Fafnir looked around him, uneasy by the fact that she left so quickly. He had been expecting something dirty from her again.

You'd be right to think like that. Her voice resonated in his head before her eyes revealed themselves again. She was right in front of him, face-to-face and the weighty aura that seemed to beat down on Fafnir returned with a revenge, intending to crush him. Fafnir had quickly responded to fight back the weight and managed to hold for a mere half second before he collapsed under it's sheer weight. He felt as if the world was falling on top of him and he had not the strength to even roll out from under it. The eyes looked down at him and she chuckled once more. "It's time to sleep again, my pet. It's not quite time for you wake up." She said in a gentle voice that betrayed the vile intent behind her actions. Fafnir felt a hand laid flat on his head, or what he assumed to be his head, "Time to sleep." Then all the weight lifted that was crushing him lifted once again. Only to be directed to the center of his head, feeling as if it was a sharp spear stabbing into his skull, and he could feel every inch of the blade digging into him. Fafnir winced, screamed, and gasped at the sheer pain resounding through-out his consciousness. He couldn't retaliate, paralyzed by the onslaught of pain throughout his body. He laid there, doing the only thing he could. Stop! S-stop! He cried and hissed in agony. The woman had a large grin on her face with sharp eyes that shown bright like the full moon on a clear night. She was enjoying every twitch and cry her servant made in efforts to make her stop, but this only further her efforts and began turning her hand slightly. The metaphorical spear embed inside of Fafnir's skull began to twist, widening the gap. Fafnir struggled with all of his might to make her cease her attack to the point of him shedding tears, begging the woman to stop.

It was unclear as to what halted her advance. Was it pity, guilty feeling? She wasn't sure herself as she stopped moving her hand and bent over to wipe his tears away. She closed her eyes slowly to reveal her soft lavender eyes, void of any traces of evil. She carefully inspected her little pet, seeing every bit of his body and then realigned her eyes with his again. She gave a large sigh and lightly patted his muzzle, "You aren't ready yet. That is why you must sleep." With a swift motion of her hand, she placed all of her strength into Fafnir's skull. There was no screaming or any pain. Just silence. Dusting herself off and sighing as she walked away from Fafnir's remains, shaking her head in disappointment. "Bah...It's never any fun when they cry." Once again, the world was clouded in darkness.
