From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf sings
To the stars above him
And the world's dark rim
From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf watches
With his dark gold eyes
He watches
From the mighty mountains
To the raging seas
From the calm plains
To the winding streams
From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf hunts
With his diamond hard fangs
And steel cutting claws
With his heated body
And thirst for blood
He leaps and tackles
He bites and sends life to a halt
And brings his pack everything
Leaving nothing but a thorn in his side
From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf fights
With his fellow pack members
Jaws snapping with anger
A want for blood
A purpose for death
From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf listens
To the wild river
And beating of hearts
To the Mother Moon
And the song of the Earth
From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf eats
Slashing at tendons
Chewing Muscle
Drinking blood
He pulls back his head
Licks his blood soaked jaws
He lets his pack have the rest
From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf sleeps
His body moves gently
Heaving with every breath
Of cold winter air
For once he looks peaceful
Relaxed and calm
For once he sleeps in peace
From dusk till dawn
The Moon Wolf sings
To the stars above him
And the world's dark rim
