Glimpses into this life
Story?
Boring. Just boring. It woud look so boring to onlookers. I want to have a more exciting life. I just stayed at home and played SWTOR. I did warzones all weekend and joined a new guild. I almost feel shitty saying that. That I joined a new guild. I abandoned the one I had spent so much time on and have become so nameless new guy in a new guild. But... at least I'm not some ******** apprentice like Eldale. I would never stoop so low. Even if it is IC. I would never let another character take advantage of Tenatren like that... He's a free spirit! Takes whatever and whoever he wants!! And doesn't like HATES people telling him what to do. He would either make them pay or simply run away. If he somehow ended up with a sith that thought he could control him... thought they could blackmail him into joining the dark side... Like they thought they found his weakness. Like they put something in him that would take away his ability to fight, that could weaken and slow him down enough to be controlled. Or a shock collar? That would be pretty simple means of controlling him. And Ten would train and look for people, anyone or anything that could help him escape- not just escape, but kill make the man pay, make whoever did it to him pay.
.....
He gazed up. His head felt so heavy, and his mind was having trouble registering how dark it was. He couldn't even tell if his eyes were open or not. Suddenly the memories of the night before came back to him. How could he have forgotten? His body ached, his shoulders stiff, and his arms were tied together with a metallic chord behind his back. He was sitting on what felt like a hard steel crate box, but he didn't remember setting himself on there. "So how do you feel? You must be insanely thirsty," a voice came from only a few feet away from him. He must've been sitting as well, unless the man was honestly that short. Somehow the voice didn't fit with the tiny person he imagined at that moment. "You must still be dazed," the voice said after a pause when Tenatren didn't respond. In truth, Ten wasn't even sure what the man had said. He did feel drugged, that's for sure. The voice sighed. "This is taking too long." Ten felt a rough gloved hand slap him forcefully across the face. The fingers left marks on his white skin, but in the darkness, nothing showed. "Wake up," the voice commanded. "I chose you because you were strong, stronger than the other candidates. You won't disappoint me now by taking an age and a half to wake up. I know you take stimulants, so show me that built up immunity." The man sounded like he was rooting for his favorite huttball team. Tenatren finally found the words. "Go to hell you blasted piece of s**t."
"There it is. My wonderful rattataki specimen finally speaks. Keep your mouth shut now, I want to test something on you."
Tenatren felt all his muscles tense as electricity shot through his body and made him shake uncontrollably. He couldn't have opened his jaw even if he tried. After a few excruciating moments, the pain passed. "Just as I thought, no resistance to the shock collar." The sound of the man's voice trailed upwards as he stood up. "You did good following orders and speaking when I asked, but from now on you will refer to me only as 'master,' unless you want to be shocked again. You will address me formally and with respect. None of that 'blast,' or 'kark,' or any other curses in my presence. Next, you will not run away. These walls were built specifically for subjects like you. As far as your allies go, you are dead to them, so there will be no one coming to save you.
You may want to kill me. You will not. Not unless you want 200 volts of electricity coming from that collar... but let's be honest. The shock won't stop you from trying to kill me." He paused, and Tenatren stared up into the darkness with a piercing glare. His frustration would be palpable. "No... I am not a slaver or some sex crazed lunatic. I am a sith. A sith lord. You will not kill me because you will not be able to." The sith lord had leaned down and carefully pronounced those words. He feared Tenatren's power, or else he wouldn't have needed the collar. But in his current state...
"If you get the idea that you are allowed to disobey me, for any reason, I will not hesitate to press the button down until I kill you. You're here because I chose you, but I could easily choose a more willing subject." Tenatren felt a cold, sharp metal pinch his cheek, which made him turn his head in the opposite direction. A lightsaber, he guessed. "Any questions?" the sith asked. Tenatren grunted, quickly turning his head away from the sharp hilt. "Why the kark is it so da-" His mouth was forced shut again when the electricity lashed out through the collar and electrified his entire body. He screamed with his teeth grinding against each other as his flesh slowly burned. When at last the shock faded, Tenatren dropped his head, his body still twitching. "So predictable... I told you not to curse in my presence, didn't I?" The sith said calmly. Tenatren let out a bloodcurdling scream, but there would be no one to hear him.
