After the recent drama going on at work I take no part of and just wanted some peace and quiet, I decided to do something I hadn't done in ages on my one-hour lunch... A bookstore raid.

Down the street was a Barnes & Noble, so I decided to fork out a little extra for the sandwich and soup and a cafe mocha. Ate the meal, took my mocha and browsed the books.

The peace and quiet was nice. Granted, the cafe part was packed with almost every table taken but the store to look through books was great. I wanted to pick up A Clash of Kings to continue reading the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. I am almost done the first book, A Game of Thrones and decided to pick it up.

My next purchase was on impulse, and I figured why not? I have done very well on my spending and the Beauty and the Beast fan in me came out.

It was The Beast Within by Serena Valentino. It's a prequel-ly kind of book about how Prince Adam becomes the Beast. I did as I flipped though it see our characters from the castle, Belle, and Gaston so far. I'm quite excited to read this book!

I came back just to get shoved right onto the floor to a customer about her skin without my coat off and my two books in hand. Everyone at work thought it was weird that I went to the bookstore on my lunch.

It's my lunch, my money, I do what I want!

Well. I have a pan heating up on the stove to make Rice-A-Roni. I shall let you know how the books turn out!
