The 4 Elemental Crystals gifted the people of the lands with another blessing a they gave them a series of spells that would keep clothing from getting damaged there is 5 Spells which are the Water Proof Spell, Fire Proof Spell, Dirt Proof Spell, Smell Proof Spell, and Protection Spell
Water Proof Spell: This spell makes cloths Water Proof so water won't absorb into the cloth at all and usually slides right off its not just water either any form of liquid will be repelled even sweat
Fire Proof Spell This spell keeps cloths from getting burnt to a crisp when a Fire attack or spell is used
Dirt Proof Spell: This spell makes it so that dirt of any kind won't absorb into cloths or cling to cloths even Dirt includes well dirt, dust, mud, food, paint, anything that will make cloths dirty will be repelled
Smell Proof Spell: This spell prevents cloths from getting smelly at all it may be a bit redundant but its to cover all bases it also locks in whatever spell the cloths had on before the spell was put on which means how the cloths smelled before is very important
Protection Spell: This spell gives cloths the exact same kind of Protection that a persons skin has agenst attacks and sharp objects if a piece of clothing needs to be changed after the spell is put on the clothing then special tools must be used these were also given by the 4 Elemental Crystals for just that problem the tools for the exact second they are touching the cloth in the exact place the spell is negated when the tool is no longer touching the cloth the spell is back in place also these tools cannot be used to hurt people as they don't work agenst the Protection Spell that is on people so if someone tried to poke you with a needle or something it would feel blunt and wouldn't do any damage Only professionals are allow to have these tools everybody else just has to be careful

Its impossible to tell clothing with the spells on them from clothing without the spells on them just by looking at them the only way to tell is to try and burn them get them wet put dirt on them hold something smelly near them and try and cut them many shops have examples and things so people can test what they are buying but competitive shop owners have gone so far as to replace the testing sizors with the special kind so it looks like the protection spell isn't on the clothing which signifigantly lowers the price on things but this is a serious crime and the shop own can get arested and there professional taylors licence revoked so its not worth the risk
