Her father is is unknown and usually played deceased. Devi is the youngest and the least mature of the Danas. Her mother says that Devi reminds her of herself, "so young and carefree....and careless."
When it comes to her older sister, she wants to be like her, but better. When Dita became a cheerleader, Devi did the same and became the head cheerleader. When Dita got good grades, Devi got better ones..but not in the conventional way. When Dita got a boyfriend, Devi would flirt and chase after him, usually winning them over.
Whether it is pure sibling rivalry or her desperate need of attention remains to be seen.
Additional Notes: She usually is played as the wilder sibling while Dita is the more calm and mature one. Devi is said to live carefree life either riding off on "the back of some guy's motorcycle" or dips into prostitution, a career in porn, or running a porn shop.
