Over the years I've really chilled out about my birthday and the birthdays of others. One year I went to such an extreme that I bought Dev swords for her birthday. And these weren't shitty fake swords or anything, I got these in Japan Town in the weapon shop. They were bitchin. Ironically though, the more relaxed and chilled out I am about my birthday, I bigger people make it. Even in high school I didn't make a huge deal out my my birthday... not at least at first. For my sixteenth birthday, Brooke made me a huge sign and posted it in front of the school <3 That was probably the first time anyone has made that big of a deal and it made me feel so loved. I still have that sign hanging in my room back in Roseville. It's one of the few pieces of writing that I saved from high school, most of the leap of faith letters I threw out after tearing them apart.
