Full Moon
Any thoughts I might have on just about anything.
Okay you nut cases who read journal entries (creepy...) this is a preview of one possible plot twists I'm considering for my Yu-gi-oh fanfic. NOt sure where exactly it would be likely to appear in the actual story but it would have to be around the end portion of middle section. xp Anywhoo put your devious minds to work and see if you can figure out what happened if you can. I dare you. pirate

Sammi curled herself into as small of a ball as she could. For now she was numb, but she knew that the feeling couldn't possibly last. But she would enjoy this feeling while it lasted. She closed her eyes and slept.

When she woke it was bright outside. Sam lay without moving. She felt odd, but some how terrible. Her head was pounding and she felt that if she moved too quickly she would hurl, or maybe collapse, or possibly both.
I will not cry, she told herself fearcely even as the tears gathered in eyes and threatened to spill over. She squeezed her eyes closed and breathed deeply, trying to force air into her lungs past the lump in her throat. But with her eyes closed all she could see was HIS face, laughing, mocking.

Sami's eyes flew open and she sat up with a gasp of terror, and then she caught her breath in pain. It was only then that she noticed the burning pain in her wrists and neck. She gently felt her throat and winced, she was sure that if she were to look in a mirror the skin would be red and raw.
"I should have dealt with that last night," She sighed. She had meant to take a shower before bed, but she'd been so tired, so dead to the world that it was probably for the best that she hadn't or she might have DROWNED in the bath. Sam forced herself out of bed and into the bathroom to inspect her wounds.

She winced again when she saw them, her neck did indeed have the cut and raw stripe she'd suspected. Her wrists were even worse, they were cut deeply and hadn't even begun to scab up and hurt like fire. Her eyes were dim and lifeless as she looked in the mirror. She felt and looked like she'd been hit by a train. Sam swallowed with an effort and turned on the water. She slashed her face, it didn't really help but it made her feel marginally better. Until she moved her hands again that is. Even though there was nothing there she swore she could still feel chains, chains that were drawing tighter around her. For a moment she couldn't breath, couldn't move.

She broke the trance by jerking her hands under the freezing water. She squeezed her eyes shut again muttering her new mantra, "I will not cry. I will not cry..." as she brought out the rubbing alcohol. And though the solution burned like hell she didn't let the tears fall.

Sam grabbed a new pair of jeans and a t-shirt before retreating into the shower. She would finish bandaging her cuts after she got out. As she passed her clock she noticed for the first time that it was almost noon. She stopped cold at that. It was... she though a moment, thursday! It was only thursday. She would never skip on a thursday. Monday and Fridays? Yes. But not the rest of the week, there was no point. Which meant that people at school would notice. And furthermore she hadn't called any of them. She had always before let one of them know she wouldn't be there so they wouldn't worry.

Sam shook her head. Too late to worry 'bout that now. She sure as hell wasn't going to school NOW. She locked herself in the shower and let the hot water soothe her nerves. She closed her eyes and took deep calming breaths to keep from hyperventilating.

"I will not, NOT cry. I gave up crying and fear and weakness years ago, and will not go back to the way I was before. I will not!" She whispered, but the words sounded false even to her.

Sam stepped into her room, the towel around her shoulders over her t-shirt, her hair was still dripping, but she didn't care. She pulled out the bandages and quickly finished fixing up her cuts. Then she snapped her choker in place, she was determined to act and look as normal as possible. If anyone found out, she swore she would die. Sam quickly reached for her armlet and then stopped. Where was it? She looked around the room calmly. And then frantically as it didn't turn up.

That was when she remembered. He'd slid it off, and set it aside, laughing as she'd struggled to keep it from him. And then she hadn't taken it with her when she'd fled! Damn! How the hell would she get it back now? She couldn't bare to face him again... not now. She just couldn't, for that matter how would she ever be able to face YUGI again?

Sam shook her head, stood up and gathered her laundry, there was nothing she could do about it except stay busy so she didn't have to think about it. She was about to walk out the door when... the phone rang. It was Yugi.

Sam fumbled with the phone, quickly flipping it open and turning it off. She slammed it down on the table and quickly went out the door down the stairs and to the laundry room.

"She hung up on me." Yugi said slowly, "She answered, I heard her, and then she just hung up!" He was shocked, she never did that kind of thing. "I think she's turned off the phone, she's not answering now.' He said after a minute.
Taryn shook her head, "What do you mean she hung up on you! She wouldn't dare. Give me that." She grabbed the phone and hit the re-dial button. It rang for what seemed like forever and then...
"YO! Sorry it took so long for me to get to the phone." Sam's voice said jubilantly.
"Sam! What the hell do you think you're doing, scaring us half to death like that-" She stopped as Sam went on.
"yeah so leave your name number ect and I'll get back to you when I get back to my phone! Please and thank-you. Tootles." The voice cut off.
"Recording." Taryn said softly and handed the phone back to Yugi.
"Something isn't right here, we should go find her."
"Not that I don't agree Yug, but it's only one o'clock!" Taryn sighed.
"Oh and thats ever stopped you before?" Yugi asked.
"No but what are you suggesting, that we just WALTZ out of here? Yeah right."
"Actaully i was thinking more along the lines of RUN." Yugi smirked evilly and slammed his fist into the wall beside him, right into the fire alarm. Taryn burst out laughing as sirens exploded into the halls.
"Ya know Yugi, I think there is hope for you yet!" She chuckled, and took off.

When then got outside they didn't stop like everyone else was. They just kept going. they didn't have the time to get Joey and the others though so this was going to be a two person mission. Taryn only hoped they would find Sam before something terrible could happen!
