Xuruth ╚Core╝ Family

The Xuruth family has no clear defining trait that runs among them. This is because the the Matron mates with any male she wants. From the thin and lean to the built and muscular. This along with the fact that many of her daughters are adoptive, makes it hard to tell who is from the family and who does not.
This is simplified with the son guards. Since most Xuruth daughter keep they're guards. They have become defined them. Each daughter's guard wares a mask that bares either they're own personal marking (one that must be accepted by the Matron) or the House marking (a large red diamond).
Son's, adopted or born, go through harsh often cruel training. This training is overseen by the Caretakers and they're own personal guards. This training covers guard duties, basic education, some spell training, servant training, and sometime even sexual training. Some son's don't make it, breaking under the pressure of simply die as a process of the training. Each Caretaker has they're own approach to training, they're younger brothers.
As for the daughters of the Matron's daughters. Those are also accepted into the family, just as the son's are. They are given the name and training as they're mother and aunts. However they often become Caretakers or happen to just fall under Daughters. With no really duties of they're own.
>>>Xuruth Family Area
The Xuruth Family area lays just beyond the throne room. They're area holds theaters, lounges, they're stables, torture room, a private alter to Lolth, adult lounges, and a few classrooms. There are four hidden doorways that lead to they're sanctum.
Two lay on either side of the large throne room, they're tucked into small corners. While the main one lays just under the Balcony Throne of the Matron. This one is the most visible and lead directly to the family dining room.
The Dinning room has several doors leading off from it, which go to other areas of the Xuruth Area. A large table at the head of which is a intricate and beautiful throne like chair, where the Matron sits. There is tons of room around it for people to stand and chat.
Beyond this room, is a maze of corridors and stairs. Contrary to what most think, most of the family doesn't live in the stalagmites. Most live with the actually fortress. They have more room outside in the stalagmites, if they need it, but they're still small so.
Near the ground is where they're private stables are.

>>Unlike other family, sons and daughters mix quite often when they're younger. Its thought that with interaction, the best pairing for guardian and guarded pairs can be created.
>> When a daughter reaches the age of 50, she get to choose a symbol for herself. This get stitched into her clothes, placed on the mask of her guard, and above they're doors and personal areas.
>> Defective sons, those with physical problems, are forced to becomes slaves to they're brothers and sisters. They handle all the small task, like setting up, cleaning, and preparing rooms for events. If they aren't to bad, they eventually become the personal slaves to any of they're sisters or mother.

>>Son's could have they're own room, if the one who they guards says they can. However most live a dorm like area.
>> Once a week, the Xuruth family holds a play. The lower daughters and granddaughters preform a play for the rest of they're family and those they invite. Which is a high honor. Afterward they all retire to one of the many lounges, though some adults retire to the adult lounges.
>> In till a daughter chooses a symbol of her own, the son's guard, wears a mask with any color they like and a large red diamond painted on it. Usually it is the daughter, who picks.
>>Brother Guards are assigned once a daughter reaches the age of 40, unless the daughter has shown some true talent. Then they get they're guard early.
>> The daughters of the family are raised by they're older sister. It is rather a test for the oldest to see if she can restrain from easy kill.
