Ichigo's battle begins, fighting with Tensa Zangetsu. He questions Tensa's motives, yelling for him to answer. In reply, Tensa yells, "Look at this world! Your world! Littered with your hope-filled skyscrapers that pierced the sky! It's now been degraded to a copy of that tiny town you grew up in!" Then, the most ominous part: "It's all, Ichigo, because you despaired and ceased to walk forward." He ends the page at his jumping in front of said shinigami, sticking his hand into Ichigo's chest. He says he will pull out his source of despair! Ichigo screams as the page turns. Then appears his hollow form, dressed in his white-clad glory. Hichigo has arrived!
Returned to Tatsuki and the others back in Karakura. Keigo assumes Ichigo is under the spell as a guess of his disappearance. We see a different side of the perverted guy when he explains that Mizuiro builds walls against people, and that Ichigo was the first person he ever got that close to, and that he's happy to see him walk forward on his own. The duo begins listing off who they should be looking for, when a massive reiatsu disturbs the conversation! Aizen has spotted them!
It seems Aizen knows what Ichigo is doing, trying to get a new power. He plans to kill the two, to push the power closer to perfection! Tatsuki yells for Keigo to run, and he looks down as he speeds off. The antagonists let him go, deciding they will kill Arisawa first. Will Ichigo make it in time?! What the heck is Hichigo planning?! KUBO!
