Chapter 1: The Koudou Family
The Koudou is a prestigious family bloodline - though no one but the head is aware, they are actually a branch of the royal family - the only reason no one knows and they are not recognized as such is because an ancestor married a Saiyan prince, and the king at the time displaced the Koudou clan from the palace. Even now, the Koudou are only acknowledged as the most powerful family second to the king, and for good reason - Koudou Shirafune, the founder of the family branch, was the queen at one time. She was a patron of the arts and made the world of intelligence and imagination flourish in the kingdom. The money she owned she locked away from the royals - so that if the Koudou clan alone ever faced a problem, they had money that belonged only to the Koudou, not to the royal family in general. This kept them afloat even after their displacement, and the heads of the family worked up a good reputation again after many generations. Basically, the riches of the Queen Shirafune made them extremely powerful, because Shirafune is considered to be the richest queen to have ever ruled Lester. The head does not tell the family for the sake of peace, because in time only the royal family still remembered.
Enough of that - let's tell you about the living circle of the Koudou family (plus the identity of the person who married a Saiyan royal)!
Koudou Yuiki (deceased - aunt of Misaki) didn't believe in the war and decided she would marry the person she wanted to - this caused her family to be displaced from the royal palace. She later passed away on a horseriding accident in Saiyan. She had long, wavy brown hair and crystal blue eyes. She was tall and lady-like like her niece Misaki only in appearance - she was actually very rebellious and open-minded.
Koudou Misaki - She is the oldest of the elders in the Koudou clan. She is the advisory to her great-grandson Sora and the wisest family member. She was there when the Koudou were still in the palace, so she has a high expectation for her family and a sense of arrogant honor.
The one who married the Saiyan prince was her aunt, Koudou Yuiki, who is deceased. She is tall, skinny, and has white hair tied back into a bun. Her eyes are a piercing green. She never married.
Atsushi Kira - She is Misaki's sister. Kira is very sweet and motherly, and she often plays with the smaller Koudou family members to give them company. She was the more carefree sibling of her generation and still is. She has jet black hair and crystal blue eyes. She is short and petite for her age.
Koudou Michiru - Michiru is the brother of Kira and Misaki. He refused to take the position as head of the family when it was his turn, feeling he didn't have the patience and strength to lead the clan. He is the father of Sora and the grandfather of Faia. He has long black hair tied into a samurai ponytail and crystal blue eyes. He looks young to be a grandfather, and that's because he is - he was born years after his two sisters, and married young. His wife passed away many years ago from pneumonia.
Atsushi Kento - Kento is the wife of Kira. He is very understanding and quiet, and prefers reading a good book and watching the sakura blossoms fall to the ground rather than take care of family matters, so the family doesn't look to him as a leader but still respects him, because he was an incredibly valiant warrior and has a very kind heart. He has long grey hair and amber eyes.
Koudou Sora - The current head of the family and Faia's lovable father. He is very open-minded, caring, and brave, but he can be a bit of an airhead when it comes to parenting. He's a silly father and usually ends up messing up when he takes care of his daughter. Regardless, he is an incredible leader and a powerful adversary on the battlefield. He is the commander of the king's army, but he runs the school most of the time. His skills as a weapon master are currently unrivaled, and he is very respected. He is usually very kind and thoughtful, and he acts calm and relaxed. He has a good level of patience, but Sora is known to be a little slow. He has long jet black hair tied back into a samurai ponytail and crystal blue eyes like his father.
Koudou Akira - Sora's wife and Faia's mother is a woman who will kick you into the next universe if you mess with her. She's tough, elegant, beautiful, and strict. She is a legendary healer, and her bloodline is known for it. Her extraordinary power made her the general of the healer camps and a very studious vice headmaster. She is mostly always calm and collected. She can become very icy at times, but she has a good heart. She loves her daughter and is very kind to her, but has no mercy when Faia's grades drop below average. Akira has short red hair and blazing amber eyes.
Koudou Shinsou - Sora's younger brother is very impulsive and brave, but he has a tendency to have a short fuse. He liked Akira like his brother when they attended Gunryo, but gave up and decided to focus on his training. Shinsou later married Hanari, his best friend. He looks up to his older sibling with great respect. Shinsou has short, messy black hair and crystal blue eyes.
Koudou Hanari - Hanari is Shinsou's wife. She is very kind and outgoing, and was Akira's close friend when they attended Gunryo. She is the only mage in the family. Hanari has long brown hair and hazel eyes. It seems only she can calm her short-fused partner.
Koudou Mitsuki - Mitsuki is Faia's younger cousin and the daughter of Shinsou and Hanari. She is very outgoing and friendly, but is surprisingly calm as well. She has short black hair and hazel eyes. Mitsuki is 14.
Koudou Yuu - Yuu is Mitsuki's 10 year old brother. He is very loud and impulsive like his father, and tends to overreact about pretty much everything. He has brown hair and crystal blue eyes. If Faia does not take the position of the family head, he will do so.
