Ichigo and Isshin are preparing for the Final Getsuga Tenshou in the Precipice World. Isshin explains that he must stop the Kouryuu Current, but that would take most of or all of his reiatsu. He adds that Ichigo has 2000 hours to release the attack and train. His son begins a sort of meditation to enter Zangetsu's world, since he must call out the final form of the Getsuga Tenshou.
Their appearance in the chapter ends as Keigo and Tatsuki meet and collect their friends. Tatsuki says that it seems as if the whole town was transported somewhere, and states that it must have something to do with Ichigo. She included, "If this is his fault, he's going to fix it", implying that she believes and trusts that he will repair what damage will be done. The chapter finale shows Aizen and Gin. Aizen says, "Now then -- Have you seen what you wanted?"
