I dream to hear those four words from you again, from that many years ago, your words echo through my mind, never falling in line. I try to understand your petty justifications, i try to decode those sounds coming out of your mouth, but all i hear are those three soft words. Those words, those simple, words that can take forever to come and pass you by in a moment, lost in a heartbeat, the dull thump rising from our chests. Revealing all, revealing none. Now we linger searching for the code we need to figure this all out, we search to make sense of what they say. But all we hear again are those three words. Take your petty justifications and tell me now why, why. Your one reason is all you say. The years that've passed you only have collected three words. I love you.
