OK. This is going to be out of whack and order because I'm going to work backwards. It's been an incredibly long time since I've done this, which is of course my fault because I kept telling myself I need to and just haven't gotten around to it. Christmas is coming up soon. Hopefully I'll actually have batteries in my camera by then. Working backwards, Thanksgiving wasn't really eventful, so moving on to her birthday. As usual, we did the double party thing. She had a party over here with Mima and crew which had a Little Mermaid theme. She loves that movie so much she made Nick watch it three times in a row one night that he babysat for her. I sprung for an ATV with my final paycheck from Howl-O-Scream and she LOVES that thing >.< She rides it all over the house and tries to ride it when I have it on the charger >.< As far as the party at my mother's house goes, it was drama-free, thank God. She got a lot of baby dolls, which she was happy about. Baby dolls, coloring, and TV are her world at the moment. She's talking, but not completely fluent yet. She repeats words like crazy, and she understands and gives simple commands. She recently had her first ear infection, and it was in both ears. Bath time was horrible. Now, she's back to playing and splashing in the tub as usual.
For Halloween she went as Snow White. That was my last night of work, so I had to miss out on trick-or-treating for the first time in 19 years. However, that was Shadow's night to shine. Everyone thought that he would take her around a block or two then give up. He proved us all wrong. They trick-or-treated for like two or three hours. And Sophia was a real trooper on that one, considering she walked the whole night in heels. >.<
So, there it is. I will be doing a Christmas entry eventually, probably some time after new year's.
