My dreams wrap me in peace.
I find comfort but as soon as it swallows me, another dream comes.
One I'm not familiar with,
One that confuses and frightens me.
I start to "panic"
I start to breath heavy and turn.
I look for another form of comfort
I turn once more and feel a body
My eyes closed,
I feel strange.

unaware of my surroundings.
I'm not alone...
yet that's ok.
I'm still at peace, I'm still safe.
This body is comfort.
I don't know your face,
I don't know your speech,
I don't know who you are.
I move closer to you to feel more of your warmth
I move closer to hear a heartbeat I feel.
I move closer to you.
My eyes finally open to see you
It takes a few moments to realize exactly who you are...
But none of it matters.
