I know she told you,
Honey I know she told you that she loved you
Much more than I did, But all I know is that she left you,
And you swear that you just don't know why,
But you know, honey i'll always,
I'll always be around if you ever want me
Come on and cry, cry baby, cry baby, cry baby,
Oh honey, welcome back home.

As soon as her BMW was parked, she could sense someone there, wanting to take a photograph of her, hoping she was somewhat like the sleazy stars of today. They were, of course, in for a suprise when she exited (fully clothing both outside and inside) and simply left. Her Louis Vuttion boots crinkled in the snow as she walked up the steps to her mother's mansion. The diva herself sat on a throne (literally) since she had remarried a prince, or duke, something like that, from a foreign country. Her mother, while encouraged to leave to that rich, powerful country, preferred the cities of Miami, New York, and even the infamous 90210 zip code. Sophie sighed a bit as she entered the mansion with a key attached to a lanyard. Her mind was plagued with ideas on how to bring up the subject of how she was going to let strangers live with her. Sophie removed her boots at the door and walked inside, of course, her clumsiness got the best of her and she almost broke something while trying to remove her boots, but that hardly mattered.

Lanky, tall, and modelesque, many men considered Sophie to be perfect. It wasn't until she tripped or fell for some odd reason that they believed she wasn't (which she did often). "Sophie? Is that you? Mumy wants to see her little baby," Her mother said and Sophie could help but scrunch her eyebrows. "Mother, I'm no longer a child," She said, her voice having an annoyed tone, as she rounded the corner to face her mother. Today, the queen was wearing a black dress that hugged her everlasting curves (she was only 43) and diamonds on her neck. "Very Audrey Hepburn," Sophie said simply, even noticing the hairstyle. "It's for a dinner party I was hoping you'd attend with me,"User Image Helen said her voice urgent, as if she needed this. "You haven't gotten out much at all since after what happened between you and-" "Mother, no. Stop. You said you wouldn't bring it up, which is why I'm here for our monthly visit. I'm leaving now," Sophie said rudely, interrupting her mother rather quickly. "I'm also having some people stay with me, and I'd prefer if you wouldn't sneak into my appartment for your rendezvous'."

Sophie left the house as quickly as she entered, ignoring the infamous paparazzi that had small tinkling flashes. She entered her car, leaving her mother dumbfounded and staring at the mansion's window. She never did get along that well with her and often hated her mother for her immature behavior and lies she spoke. Needless to say, she was hardly a good role model. A good model, yes she was. She was still beautiful and graced the covers of Vogue at age fourty (Sophie herself wished she could be that beautiful for that long as well).

Night

She had done it. She had taken out her million dollars and bought tons of equipment as well as her loft. It was a beautiful eight bedrooms, one office, one studio, six bathrooms (most interconnected between rooms) and a kitchen. Of course, that was much more then a million, but her father owed her a birthday present so she simply begged for a house. The bills and everything was covered, from even having a maid come in and straighten things out once a week. This, was going to be the most helpful for Sophie when they would begin to arrive. She looked around the perfectly clean, furnished apartment and noticed keys on the fireplace. She quickly grabbed them and smiled at the small note her father had placed below them. All of the keys were to his vacation houses, in case she needed to relax from the music business.

She highly doubted that would happen. Some of her apartment was two stories and there was a rather large balcony (she called that room) that extended to another area of the house. It was odd, considering she swore her father didn't own the apartment on the other side, but one key opened it, and when she walked inside, it was a bar and a club like atmosphere. Money, apparently, was not an issue to her father. She figured, she could make an investment into this part of the 'apartment' (she thought of it much more like a house now) and try to let her newfounded band play here. She'd call all of the famous people she knew and they'd come to this party, only to hear the band playing. It would be perfect, and she would be a perfect manager.

A wide smile crept onto her face as she marched to the living room and sat down, awaitng her soon to be guests. Soon, doorbell after doorbell rang and she had six people in her large living room. "Relax and make yourselves comfortble. I'll be right back with some hot coco," She said and quickly ran to the kitchen before heading back, a tray in her hand, with six mugs of hot coco. "So, my idea, is that all of you can stay here," She paused to create a tense moment, "Only IF you become a band," She said and then smiled at them. Of course, there was more to that, but she couldn't care, nor would she let them find out. "So, let's start. My name is Sophie, and I'm going to be your manager. Who are you, what are your hobbies, things like that is what I'm interested in," She said and sat down, her legs crossing like a perfect lady awaiting for the first person besides herself to talk. She understood it was all a bit to take in, but she didn't expect silence this long even more so since she went so fast with her discussion. She took a sip of her coco and smiled sweetly.

Don't you know, honey ,
Ain't nobody ever gonna love you
The way I try to do ?
Who'll take all your pain,
Honey, your heartache, too ?
And if you need me, you know
That I'll always be around if you ever want me
Come on and cry, cry baby, cry baby, cry baby,
Oh daddy, like you always saying to do.
