The young woman cursed outloud to herself as she noticed the scrape on her skates. Oh, yes, she had scrapes on her skates, but Ariel had learned to become frugal with money (it was her's now, technically) and she couldn't waste it on new skates when the one she had on now fit her perfectly fine. She was, like her parents assumed, starting to become more independent towards herself and was less and less caring about that part of her life. Still, she wanted to wonder why in the world, or how actually, that happened in the first place. She grumbled and then kept her mouth closed, remembering where she was.

To be frank, Ariel only came to this circus thing because her friends convinced her there were hot guys and because of the obvious scary appeal to it. She had, since she was young, loved the sensation she felt when fright creeped down her blood, and then to the thin ever so precious bone marrow and finally back out, leaving her with the goosebump. She smirked and rolled her sktes ever so quietly backstage, trying to stay as quiet as possible through the bumble of the show going on. Suddenly, it stopped and she knew it was either an intermission or maybe even the show was over. Ariel wondered where her friends were and then shook her head, ignoring the feeling that something horrible might have happened. She was never really motherly, but when it came to a group she actually felt like she'd belonged in, she instantly changed her mind and became rather overprotective, often leading to stupid consequences.

Ariel glided across the back, hiding behind a red curtain that she assumed lead out to the big top. She smirked to herself and then her maturity was instantly gone, her imgination running wild in her mind, trying to cling to every innocent thought. She couldn't though and quickly grabbed something out of her backpack. How she managed to get it in, even she would never figure out (she thought for a moment if she was that good, maybe she should be apart of the circus as well). Still, inside there was a metallic bottle and in that bottle was light blue paint. Oh, how she would love to tag even this miniscule curtain, her signature splashed upon it. She smirked and then opened it, before hearing light voices nearby, causing her to drop her favorite color can and to run as fast as she could in skates. She gulped and took deep breaths when she was finally in the back, near the entrance, outside peering at the bright lights inside.

She sighed, wondering how lost a human could be in something that went simply in circles. She moved her skates against the hard ground and was once again right in the dressing rooms, however this time there were people. She raised an eyebrow softly as she quickly saw what looked like two young lovers in a quarrel. A young man was crying (didn't guys like that?) and the woman, she looked rather, well, determined and soft at the same time. Motherly was the correct word, yet she was highly beautiful. Ariel would have watched with much more determination (even more so since the woman had bright beautiful eyelashes that sparkled in the light and the man's tears seemed to match them perfectly) but she needed to leave she turned around, to face a man he just apparently leaving his preformance. "Excuse me," She said politely and thought for a moment. 'I'm not supposed to be here. . .Think of an excuse, come on Ariel, think!' She thought and then smiled. If it was was one thing she learned from her rich snooty parents, it was that if you acted like you owned the place, you did.

"Hello, I'm Ariel. I'm doing a sorta, err, report for a class at school. Everyone is highly excited, so umm, yeah," She said and turned on her skate's heels, hoping that excuse, however lame it was, satisfied the man. She then began to notice more of the people showing up, their faces looking sparkling and beautiful as did the two before. She had no clue what her friends ment when they said the circus would be frighting. She thought these people were rather beautiful. "Wow," she whispered and noticed the small pieces of string on the man's piercings.
