Never Stop Writing!
No matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe, the best advice I could ever give you is: Never stop writing! If you've never written anything, start. It doesn't matter if it's good, or even grammatically correct, although that helps. I've been writing since the summer before my eighth grade year. It started with really bad poems, then they got a little better. Eventually I started writing short stories, which started getting longer. At one point, when I wasn't feeling very inspired, I just started writing about my thoughts. No one ever has to see what you wrote, but for your own personal benefit write something. Because, writing is by far the best way that I have found to "let it all out" so to speak, and to see your true feelings.
