On the road, day 1
Okay, so the next couple of paragraphs is me being bored and on the road, so if you want to skip the boredom, then look for the little stars to show when my observations stop. they look like this. ***
Well, I’m on the road at this very second. Currently we’re in Colorado, I guess. Ready for the lovely report on my surroundings? to my right there is lots of…green. I see..a windmill, a fence ( a dying fence that is..) and guess what! GRASS. Oooh the excitement, it’s killing me. No seriously, I’m dying from looking at all of this. oh, and here we go, the outlook is looking brighter. We have some excitement now! ahead of me is, A SEMI! Ohh the joy. Oh, wait a minute. I’ll have to take a break from this exciting report to play “the letter game” with my little brother. (I’ll clear up the details of this game as it’s over)
Well, no, it’s not over yet. And jesse happens to be peeking over my shoulder as I write. So far I’m tied up with my dad on “Q”. So, we’ll see how this turns out.
Okay, No fair. No fair at all. well, my dad won that one, technically because he called out his last letter before mine… But we both spotted our last letters on the same sign so I say it could be a tie. Anyhoo, how the game works is you watch on signs that pass for all the letters in the alphabet, A-Z, and you can skip one letter in the alphabet. Real complex game, I know.
Back to my report of the beautiful landscape. In the past twenty minutes or so everything looks pretty much the same. You have grass, you have the occasional tree, and you have road signs. Ohh, and windmills, can’t forget the windmills. I suppose I’d better get on to something interesting pretty darn soon or all of you readers are going to quit on me.
Well, what is there to say? We’re going to Yellowstone national park. And it’s going to be about a three day drive. And right now we’re about, oh, an hour away from the campsite I’d say. Oh, have I mentioned that we’ve switched time zones? Yes, indeed we have. Now it’s a whole hour earlier. Which kind of bugged me because I was keeping track of the clock a few hours ago, it was around five, and I was guestimating that we’d be there around eight. and then around six my dad announces that we’ve just entered a different time zone, and we’ll still get there around eight. Big disappointment. Added a whole nother hour to the trip. Ah well. OH GUESS WHAT. I just saw a cow. haha.. oh, Dear lord, I am so glad I don’t live in the country. Seriously, if I had to live out here in the middle of nowhere I’ve no idea WHAT I’d do! Tomorrow we’ll pass through Denver though, which I’m looking forward to.
Oh, where is the excitement in me? this is stretching on and on, and not for the better! But I can’t get any internet on this laptop, so the next best thing I could think of doing was typing a nice long journal.Too bad it’s an epic failure.
***
Omnoomnom, what to say? Okay, I’ve got a subject in mind now, School! Yes, I’m excited for it. And yeah, that’s wrong I know. But there’s no denying it. Of course, it’s not like I’m thinking “oh, golly gee! I’ve missed doing math so much! I can’t wait to get back to it!” but it’s more the whole, being around people thing. It feels like my days are such a waste when I’m just sitting around not doing anything. Oh, and my lovely little brother who’s still sitting comfortably next to me (the little snoop..) wants to correct me on my last sentence. he says “you know, your never not doing anything. your sitting right now.” Thanks so much for the correction. That matters loads to me.
Oh, something fun that happened this morning: so, my mom told me to yell to my brothers and say “hey wake up!” so I was like, “okay, you asked for it.” And I walk into their room, open the door ominously, and shout at the top of my lungs “HEY GET UP!”
I tell you, you should have seen their faces. GOODNESS, okay, so I’m typing with the laptop screen down now, because jesse’s being a pain in the butt. He keeps reading this and commenting on it. like “what? I already know what your typing about the trip and the beginning of the day.” Okay, screen’s back up again. until he starts reading again.
Oh, I’ve trained this poor child to say “GINGA!” with the crazy woman accent voice. And the sad thing, he’s actually got it down. Now people are going to look at him and go ‘what’s that kid’s problem?” just like they do with me. lol.
Gosh, you know what, I can’t take writing a journal in the car anymore. It’s impossible I tell you, sitting next to him. Usually he’s not quite this annoying but today he’s outdoing himself. Will write again…PERHAPS, later. Toodles for now.

I was so excited to hear what you were going to say after "OH GUESS WHAT." but it was just a cow. Hilarious though.
That screaming at your brothers thing sounded really fun. Hahaha. And I can't believe that you've taught your brother to say, "Ginga!". Incredible...he's going to have one heck of a life if you keep teaching him all our weird quirks. Well, that's a little exaggerated, but oh well.
