Subject: Lovers Of Sophia Must Read
Body: Obviously my status has concerned you by now. So i don't have to tell the story over and over again, read: I put Sophia to bed Sunday night perfectly fine. At 11:37 the next morning she woke up with a fever of 101. By 4 pm and after a nap and two doses of Tylenol, it'd gone up to 103. Apparently, she has an infection in her kidney, which caused a UTI. She's been kept over night so, naturally, Mommy and Daddy are here at her side. She's miserable, and this is the third time she's gone to sleep since she's been here. She hates the nurses with their constant temperature taking and drawing of blood. She's hooked up to an IV with antibiotics and although she's doing better, we don't know yet whether or not we'll have to stay another night. Please keep us in your prayers. <3

Subject: Update on Soph
Body: Thank you all for your comments and your support. Sophia is doing much better. She's more alert and smiles a lot more than she did yesterday. An ultra sound on her kidneys proved nothing was wrong with them. However, she's still on IV antibiotics that we're hoping will flush everything out of her system. Her fever is breaking, and I keep trying to feed her, but her appetite isn't quite back yet. She does eat, but not often, and not much. Along with the fluids in the IV she's basically living on chocolate milk at the moment; but that's better than nothing.

Oh god when I heard about this earlier I was worried but I am very glad to hear that she is doing better. Here's hoping that the progress only continues steadily. I love you all and am sorry that all of this is happening. {From Amanda Morgan}

be sure to give her more water more often. i give sean nothing but whole milk and water and he never gets infections. its very important to giver her lots of water!! {from Rebecca}

Subject: Last But Not Least
Body: We're home. They put a catheter in her and took an x-ray to see if the urine was backing up into her kidneys. We'll have the results from that tomorrow. Sophi's napping in her own bed, finally, and is unbelievably happy to be home. On that note, so are Mommy and Daddy. No more IV's or nurses or pokes or prods. No more ripping out the IV and getting blood all over her bed {Yep. Last night. 'Twas fun} No more hospital food and no more VHS >.< I swear within three days, we made it through Disney's Masterpiece collection, or at least half of it. Most of all, no more worries^^ Thank yous and love all around for the prayers and the support and whatnot^^
